It was like I was witnessing the most gruesome war I have ever seen in all my life.

Even when we werewolves go out to hunt, even when we attack hunters who threaten our territory, it was never like this.

The battlefield was bloody, smoke mixed with ashes with the putrid smell of blood filled the air and also my nose.

Everywhere I looked, there was an unpleasant sight to see. I found comrades and enemies alike getting cut down and massacred with no mercy.

It made my chest twist a little, but this fight was necessary. It was needed, if we wanted to get free from the clutches of both Alpha Fenrir and Lucian finally.

“Don’t show the enemy any mercy! Fight and push your way through! For Nether Moon!” Alex shouted somewhere on the field and I had to look away as he plunged his hand through an unlucky man, ripping his heart out.

“For Nether Moon!” They cried out in response and it seemed like that little boost was what they needed to build their confidence once more.
