"You are not frigid, Miracle. Your husband just have no idea how to love a woman like I do," he said as his fingertip trace my body, making me tremble beneath his touch. "So get ready to lose your voice because I'm going to make you scream all night." * Miracle thought her story had ended when her husband of five years, whom she gave up everything for, cheated on her. Until a man named Hawkins, whom she later found out to be a billionaire, saved her from drowning in the ocean and offered to help her find a new purpose in life. The two clicked instantly and agreed on a no-strings attached relationship for mutual benefit. Miracle thought he was a plot twist in her life, but Hawkins turned out to be a conflict when her father forced her to seduce him in exchange for her and her mother's freedom. Miracle found herself torn between following what her heart and body desires, and her love for her mother. One thing is for sure. She will no longer let anyone control her life and write her own ending!

"Let's get married." "What? Are you crazy?!" I exclaimed with a laugh when Mark, my boyfriend of two years, suddenly showed up in front of our house. "I'm serious! Don't you want to see how it will end? The future is uncertain, Miracle. We could die tomorrow so let's not live with regret." He said, trying to catch his breath and I realized how serious he was. "B-But I'm only turning thirty and I haven't achieved my dream, Mark. I—" "Do you want to or not? Because it's you I want to spend the rest of my life with, Miracle. I promise I will give you everything and you don't have to work anymore! Give up your dream and be with me!" He continued to shake me and I couldn't stop laughing. "Okay! I will marry you!" I finally gave in and he screamed in happiness before lifting me off the ground, our lips meeting in a kiss. I blinked and tilted my head to get rid of the sudden memory five years ago, not feeling the happiness I felt that moment and only feeling nothing but regret. I looked at the wedding ring I removed from my finger, and blamed it for the memory. I placed it on top of my vanity table and picked up the lipstick to finish my makeup. I took a moment to stare at myself and I admit that sometimes, I no longer recognize myself. The bubbly, optimistic girl with a lot of dreams and a smile on her face is now replaced by a shell of a woman, void of any emotions. Satisfied with how I look, I left the room I share with my husband and climbed down the stairs, pausing to kiss my mother goodbye and like usual, she didn't give any response and remained staring at nothing. I'm not even sure if she can still recognize me because of her condition, but she has all I have left and she's the reason I'm enduring all of this. "You better behave yourself, Miracle. Jake Andrews is an important client and we need his share in the project we're working on." My Dad, who was sitting on the sofa, warned me and I didn't bother sparing him a glance or responding. "I love you, Mom." I whispered to my mom and left the mansion and went to the restaurant where I met Jake Andrews, my client for tonight. "How are you? Wow, you look... magnificent." He complimented me and I allowed him to help me sit and kiss my cheeks. "I'm good, Jake. You don't look so bad yourself." I returned the compliment with a permanent fake smile plastered on my face. I can't even remember the last time I smiled genuinely. Three years after marriage, Mark and my Dad forced me to be an escort to entertain their business partners and used my mother to make me do what they wanted. I flirt with them, entertain them, and even let them touch me while pretending to be single, but I never allow them to go beyond that even when my own husband and father isn't preventing me from doing so. I already fell at the deepest part of hell and I will not taint my body for them. The dinner started with him trying to get in my pants and me entertaining his interest in me, but like usual, I just did my best to reel him in, and enticed him to work with us and sign the document. Once I successfully had the document in hand, I made a random excuse and left before he could do something to me. I am lucky to save myself every time, but I know one day, one of them might do something terrible to me to get what they want. When I got home, I threw the document on the table, my mood turning sour when I saw Delilah, my father's mistress or 'second wife' as what she likes to address herself, but I will never see her like that. For me, she will always be that slūt who seduced my father and caused my mother to have an accident and end up the way she was now. I hate her and my father with every part of me for what they did to my mother, yet, he still wants to use my mother against me. Leaving was never an option. I tried once, but it didn't end well and since then, they had a maid watch over her 24/7. "There's your deal." I said coldly and Delilah threw me a look of distaste. "Now what kind of attitude is that? Is that any way to treat your father?" I ignored her like I always do and went upstairs to Mark and I's room, my footsteps faltered a little when I saw the door was ajar, and I could hear the bed squeaking. I took a step closer and peeked through, my hand flying to my mouth in shock and tears automatically gathered in my eyes. I suspected it. I already suspected that he has someone new because of how he treats me and how he rarely touches me, still, I foolishly thought he still loved me like how I still stupidly love him. The worst part is, I didn't expect it to be my step-sister, Blair.Chapter Ninety-Nine: His Miracle, Her Pride(FINAL CHAPTER)Hawkins' POVI frowned when I did not see Miracle around. I left to get her a fruit juice and got a glass of beer for me as well, but when I came back to our table, I didn't see her anywhere. Confused, I started looking everywhere for her with our drinks in my hands and found her on the deck while looking at the vast ocean. "I should have known you'd be here." I chuckled, walking closer to her, handing her her juice and kissing her head. "This reminds me of the time I saw you again after a long time. Five years ago on this exact spot and date." I mumbled on her cheek and she laughed lightly, turning to face me and looking at me with those eyes that mirror the ocean. "Who would have thought that we would be together? That we'll come back here to celebrate our anniversary?" "Well, I can't blame you for not letting me go. I'm a total catch." I winked at her and Miracle threw her head back. "You're so full of yourself." "What
Chapter Ninety-Eight: Forevermore Miracle's POV"I love you. I missed you so much." I repeatedly told Hawk once we're alone in our room. After our moment in the pool, we ditched everyone and he took me to our home where we can be alone and love each other. I am longing to see our son, but for now we are excited to love one another after being apart for a long time. "Not as much as I did, love. I almost died waiting for you, thinking you will forget about me and possibly fall for another man." He replied when our lips disconnected. I threw my head back and laughed, giving him the access to my neck and my laughter soon turned to moans. Soon, our clothes disappeared and we're now on top of each other with no space between us. Our lips clashed, tongues battled for dominance and our hands explored each other's bodies, as if we're familiarizing each other's touch, igniting a spark of lust within me. God, how long has it been since we last made love? I couldn't even remember anymore but
Chapter Ninety-Seven: Forever Starts NowMiracle's POVI woke up to the sound of something beeping, I inhaled and I smelled nothing but disinfectant and alcohol. I knew the word, but for some strange reason, I couldn't pinpoint it.I groaned when a wave of pain hit me. It started from my brain and it felt like my skull was cut open, then it spread all over my body. Everything feels sore. Like I hadn't moved in a long time, especially my back. I panicked when I felt something on my face and reached out to remove it even if my hands felt weak. It's helping me breathe, but right now, I feel suffocated. When I removed it, I heaved a breath and panted harshly while looking around. Where am I? What am I doing here? I swallowed and winced because my throat felt like sandpaper. I tried to sit, but there were a lot of things attached to my hands and body. There was no one in the empty room beside me, and it didn't help that the room felt depressing aside from a vase filled with red roses, b
Chapter Ninety-Six: A Wonderful SurpriseHawkins' POVMy eyes never left her. It might sound creepy, but my eyes followed her wherever she goes and whoever she talks to. My blood boils whenever a man looks at her the wrong way and I wanted to stake my claim, but that is just inappropriate, so I can only clench my fists and the girls beside me helped me hold my jealousy in. After greeting everyone, Beth let the waiters serve the food. We both worked on the service and chose Miracle's favorite dishes. I thought her taste might have changed, considering she lost her memory, but to my surprise and happiness, her tastes remain the same. She looked so adorable. She was like a little kid all over again as she tried every dish on the table. "It's sad that she can't remember us, but it's okay because she came back to us. She's cured, isn't she, Hawk? We won't lose her, right?" Anna said beside me, causing me to look away from my wife for a second to look at her."Doc Zach said the procedure
Chapter Ninety-Five: AmnesiaHawkins' POVThree months pass by agonizingly slowly for everyone, especially to Blythe and I. The whole family and I stayed in New Zealand until Zach declared that the operation was a success, and Miracle is set to undergo medication next. He allowed me to see her one more time while she's still asleep and told us that we are now forbidden to see her. He promised to keep me updated about my wife's progress and healing, and we went back home. The thought of not seeing her for three months was hard, but the thought of her being cured from the disease made it easier. What's three months when I waited for her for years? A day after she woke up, Zach called me and informed me that Miracle did in fact, lose her memory, but he couldn't tell yet if it's temporary or permanent. The news saddened me, especially whenever I look at our son. I was filled with 'what ifs', but then my family cheered me up and told me to stop thinking negatively. After all, I promised
Chapter Ninety-Four: A Miracle for MiracleHawkins' POVThe moment Zach Montgomery himself contacted me saying he's willing to help us, Miracle and I flew the next day, and we left our son in my parents' care. Everyone originally wanted to go with us, but I didn't want to overwhelm the doctor. It was shocking enough that he reached out, and it's even more shocking that he chose us among the other patients. "Nervous?" I asked Miracle who was looking out the window. She slowly turned to me and her answer was written all over her face. "Nervous, scared and yet I feel excited as well, Hawk, but I don't want to get my hopes up yet."I smiled and squeezed her hand. "That is normal, love, but I feel positive about this one." She let out a shaky breath. "I really hope it's good news."She leaned her head on my chest and I kissed the crown of her head. We looked at the sky together and I really hope that what's waiting for us is a miracle. When the jet landed in New Zealand, we went straig
