I woke up to the sound of laughter outside my window, feeling a sense of warmth and happiness that I hadn't felt in a long time as I remembered the kiss Leo and I shared last night.. As I sat up in bed and rubbed the sleep from my eyes, I realized that I had just had a romantic dream about Leo.

In the dream, Leo and I were walking on a beautiful beach, hand in hand. The sun was setting, it’s reflection showed over the waves. Leo turned to me and smiled, his eyes shining with love and adoration. He took my face in his hands and kissed me, and I felt a rush of emotions that left me breathless.

As I lay in bed, my fingers on my lips, reliving the dream, I realized that my feelings for Leo went far beyond friendship. I was falling for him, hard.

I got out of bed and began to get ready for the day, my mind racing with thoughts of Leo. We were still at his family’s estate and I knew that we would not be spending the day together, since he planned on traveling for business.

Will Leo be around for the birthday hangout?” Angela asked as she arranged the groceries. We had gone to the supermarket to get some groceries and celebration items for the plan.Stan was in school, so it was easy for us to freely go and come back. The plan was to surprise him at night, after pretending to forget about the day being his birthday. So most of our activities were done when he was in school. I, on the other hand, had exams coming up soon.My schedule must be arranged properly as soon as I was done with this birthday plan.“I don’t know, honestly.” I answered as I passed her the crate of eggs.“Is something wrong?” She asked me as she furrowed her brows.“Where?” I asked as I passed her the celery leaves.“You know…between both of you.” She replied as she brought out the old cereal boxes.“Why do you ask?” I asked her she chuckled and replied,”You usually speak about him a lot, you’ve been quiet these past hours…or am I expecting too soon?” She asked me.“I don’t want to t

“Sophia!” Stan said as he rushed towards me with glee all over his face.“Oh my…” I heard Angela’s usual expression as she followed suit and I accepted both hugs happily.Leo’s deception still gnawed strongly at the back of my mind, but I wasn’t planning on letting it affect my initial plan of surprise.I laughed happily as the both narrated how they spent the days without me.“We didn’t expect to see you till tomorrow or next.” Angela said as I smiled knowingly at her.“Yes. I planned on surprising all of you.” I informed her as Edgar continued bringing in the bags.“Either ways, I am so glad…a part of me thought you’d miss my birthday.” Stan said with a grin.I roughed his hair with my fingers, as I said,” I can’t miss it for the world.”“Doesn’t mean you’ll mess my hair up!” He exclaimed as I laughed and searched for the gift packs.I gave both of them their gifts from my shopping and withheld the specific items for Stan’s birthday.Giving Angela also the gift I got for Paris’ fath

As I packed my bags, I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. I was going home, back to my normal routine, and away from the confusing emotions that had been swirling inside me since Leo left.I would surely miss this place, I thought to myself as I sighed and sat on my bed waiting for Edgar to pick me up.It was a beautiful, sprawling estate nestled in a place of breathtaking beauty, where the air was sweet with the scent of blooming flowers and the sound of birdsong filled the air.“Are you coming soon?” I asked Edgar on the phone.“I just drove into the estate.” He answered as I smiled.“I’ll be right down.” I said before hanging up.I picked my tote bag, while the butler took it upon himself to aid with the remaining bags.“Thank you.” I appreciated him with the gift I got when Leo and I went shopping within the week.It was a thick forest green scarf that matched his almond colored eyes.“Thank you ma’am.” He said as he gave me the warmest smile.I nodded and entered into the

“When are you coming back sis?” Stan asked on the other end of the phone.“You miss me already?” I teased him as he laughed.“God, no.” He remarked.“Is that Sophia?” I heard Angela ask“Yes!” I exclaimed joyfully as Stan kissed his teeth and gave the phone to her.“Hey, how are things going there over there?” She asked me.“Pretty good.” I said with a grin on my face.“And Leo?” She asked.“What happened to him?” I asked, feigning ignorance.“You know…”“Know what?” I asked her.“How are things between you both?” She asked me.“Oh.” I stated.“Oh…like you didn’t know what I meant?” She asked me as we both laughed.“Angela…” I began as she interrupted me.“Say it.”“I think I’m falling for him.” I said with a whisper.“Oh my…that’s good isn’t it?” She exclaimed happily.“I guess… but I get so awkward sometimes or flustered.” I revealed to her.“Around him?” She asked.“Yes.” I responded.“Would you like to take things further?” She asked again.“Oh, I’m a bit nervous.” I replied.“So

As I ate my dinner slowly,, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awkwardness around Leo. The dream I had about him had left me feeling shy and reserved, and I didn't know how to process my emotions.Leo noticed the change in me immediately. He would catch me looking at him, my cheeks flushing with embarrassment, and he would smile knowingly.I offered to clear the table, despite the workers doing so just to give my self some distance away from him.I followed the chef into the kitchen with the dirty dishes before realizing Leo was right behind me with some plates too.Leo turned to me and asked, "Sophia, is everything okay? You seem a little...distracted lately."I blushed, feeling a little self-conscious. "I'm fine, Leo. Just a little...tired, that's all."Leo raised an eyebrow, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Tired?" he repeated. "Or maybe just a little...preoccupied?"I looked away, feeling my cheeks grow even hotter. How did he figure it out exactly? But Leo just chuckled and t
