Chapter 14: Unknown Vampire

From a far of distance I can see the outline of  the orphanage. I can also hear the sound of the children's cries.

My heart wretched as I hear them, they have already suffered a painful lose and now this? Another very traumatic event.

We were almost there when two rogues jumped infront of us.  All of us stopped on our tracks.

Their yellow eyes shines in mischief under the moonlight. Their teeth were blaring at us and they smell strongly like a rotting flesh.

Daston and John shifted right before our very eyes and charged at the Rogues. We all took that as an opportunity to run and get to the orphanage.

When we got there some of the kids were screaming and crying outside. Their instincts must have made them realize that something is wrong.

When we got there, the pups immediately hugged us. Their tear stained faces were very heart breaking to look at.

"Lia, do some head count. It should be 38."
