The wind brushed against my fur as I speed through the woods, dashing left and right and jumping over the fallen trees in my attempt to avoid any obstacles that could potentially slow me down.
I can't lose my daughter, she's all that I have.
I heard thumping of paws followed by multiple snarls. I know that my pack is right behind me, ready to face danger and will do our best to stop the Rogues.
Rogues are Werewolves who had been kicked out of the pack or had left on their free will. Only a few are considered good and it is rare to encounter the good ones.
But in this case, the Rogues that we will face have no intention in showing us kindness.
Rogues are frowned upon by the Werewolf Realm. The reasons why they left is often because they have trouble following authoritative figures. They go rabid, insane and would kill anyone that would stand in their way.
They would lose their sense of humanity letting their animalistic instinct take full control.
We, Werewolves believes in order and balance and they (The Rogues) upsets the circle of nature. And they must be stopped before anything drastic could happen. The werewolf committee has been doing theirvery best to control the Rogues's situationbut even with the help of the Royal wolves they are still struggling.
My adrenaline was pumping, I could feel it course through my veins powering me up and giving me the sudden rush that I need in order to reach my daughter in time. I just wish I'm not too late.
We were near the edge of the tree lines when we heard the deafening screams of humans.
That only means one thing. We were too late.
The humans have already seen them.
Werewolves existence will probably be in the news headlines later .
Well, I guess Creatures of the Nights are now probably Out Of The Shadows.
The best thing that we can do now is to protect the humans from the Rogues. I'm pretty sure that they are scared and they are out of their wits end.
Emerging from the trees. After decades of living in the shadows we had finally shown ourselves.
But this is not the kind of introduction that I have in mind. But none the less we need to step up and protect the humankind from the dark forces of the supernatural world.
Springing into action, I commanded my wolves to help and secure the safety of the humans. I shifted into my human form and some followed while others stayed in their wolf forms battling with the Rogues.
I can clearly see that the city has been a total wreck.
Cars were littered on the streets, some are even on top of the others. Heck even some of the buildings are on fire. Broken glasses can be seen everywhere.
This is not an ordinary Rogue attack. It is impossible for them to orchestrate an attack like this. They usually go in small groups, not like this number.
Looking around I mindlinked my Delta 'Chris. Send in more Etas, we need a lot of back up.'
It took him a few seconds before replying 'They are on their way Alpha'.
I have been trying to communicate with my Beta but he seems to not be responding. I had helped numerous humans tramped in their cars but Michael is still unreachable.
I tried contacting Beta Female Corinne bet there is something blocking our mental link.
My frustration is growing every second.
Not far from where I was pulling another human stuck in the back seat. His car was trampled over and was squished in between two cars.
Just as I was about to pull him out I heard a scream. Looking at the direction of the scream, I saw a human cornered by a brown colored Rogue.
Letting go of his hand "I will be right back" was all I managed to say to the guy when I went straight into the Rogue, I shifted mid air and I landed on top of him. Without wasting any second I sank my canines on his jugular vein ending his pathetic life.
Morphing back to my human form I asked the lady "Are you okay?" But when she opened her mouth, her eyes rolled back and fainted.
Right before she could hit the ground I caught her in my arms. I released a huff and rolled my eyes. Puny humans.
I cannot just leave her here since it is unsafe. I've decided to carry her and walked to the direction of the guy who I was helping earlier. I laid her besides the wrecked car and pulled the guy out seeing as he already managed to crawl midway out.
"I don't know her name but can you watch over her. Until she wakes up."
"Thank you for saving our lives." I just give him a little nod and shifted into my wolf. On my way to the mall I managed to kill 3 more Rogues.
Everywhere around me I could hear and feel that the battle is still ranging on. I was so confused on the number of wolves coming out from the direction of the woods, there seemed to be an endless supply of Rogues.
I was in the middle of battling with two Rogues when I received a mental message from my Theta.
'Alpha, we have found Beta Michael and Beta Female Corinne at the ground floor right outside the ice cream shop. They are both unconscious and are littered with scars. I'm using my affinity to heal them.'
'What about my daughter, Erica?!'
'Delta Chris was looking for her.'
I was so engrossed in the mental conversation me and Andrew were having that I failed to realize that I'm still in the middle of fighting.
The Rogues took that opportunity to pounce on me at the same time. I was able to dodge the other one but the second one had caught my hind legs on his mouth. I yanked my feet away from his teeth and I growled at him when he managed to tore a chunk of flesh from my legs.
The other one tried to pounce on me again but I managed to side step swiftly. He was a little too slow cause I bit on his neck and shakes my head causing my canines to dig deeper. He let out a whimper as he met his doom.
The other Rogue growled at me and tried to attack me but just like the other one he was no match to an Alpha. He too met his end.
I shifted into my human form and blood was still pouring out from my wound. Pushing myself up I was able to limp my way into the mall. I need to find my daughter.
When I got there, I looked down and saw that my wound is almost healed.
I easily spotted my Theta healing my Michael and Corrine. Blood was everywhere and I saw Corrinne's arm was twisted in a weird angle.
Seeing both my Betas condition I started to fear for my daughter's well being. She's only two!
I sniffed the air. Concentrating hard on her scent but my heart sank when I smelled her blood. She's hurt!
"Be careful Alpha." Was the last thing I heard from Andrew as I jumped and shift into mid air.
Releasing a ferocious growl I followed my daughter's scent.
No one messes with the Alpha's Daughter.
Hey guys thank you for reading, enjoy your day :)
Clashing of claws and baring of fangs can be seen happening in every part of the pack house. Hours have passed, The war between the rogues has finally reached its end and the sun starts to shine in the horizon once again. Sunrise, a symbol of new beginning. But, unfortunately there are still no signs of my mate. A saw a member of the pack walking near me. "Can you show me where the sacred grounds were, I just want to pay respect to the fallen warriors."Fear suddenly envelops him as he sensed my wolf.He shrank back a little l, but nonetheless showed me the way. The path was surprisingly clear and we'll maintained, as we walk deeper into a the dense part of the forest, the amount of trees were declining, until we reached a clearing. Mourning families were crying over their cloth covered loved ones. The pack members who did not made it were all gathered here on the pack's sacred grounds, each pack has a sacred burial ritual done by the oldest member of the pack. "I'll take my lea
There was a long pause and a minute of silence between me and my mother. Her yellow eyes were glinting with anger and ferociousness as she stared at me cautiously. I approached her slowly to try and hug her but she thought that I was about to inflict harm on her so her instincts were doing the flight or fight response, and she chose the latter since she decided attack me. She lunge at me with her blaring fangs and she was stopped mid air. Fortunately she was held back by the shackles and the long chain attached to her ankles, She just looked at me with her eyes burning in rage and her chest was huffing up and down as she breath in and out deeply, her claws are now slowly appearing.
Alpha Alexander's POV(Same time as the ceremony) I opened my eyes and noticed that the room was dark. I must have slept throughout the afternoon. The room is only illuminated by the moon peeking from my curtains, giving my plain and boring bedroom a nice moonlight glow. I was about to go out today and witness a Luna Ceremony but I have more important things to do. Running a Werewolf Kingdom has never been an easy task. I have no time to waste and every second counts. And consider the fact that I ascended on the throne at such a young age with no parents to ever guide me. Everyday has never been the same. New problems would arise day after the other and the constant nagging of the committee for me to find my mate is getting on my nerves. And as their king I must put the kingdom first even if it means sacrificing myself. The kingdom needs an heir to keep the royal bloodline alive. With the consta
From a far of distance I can see the outline of the orphanage. I can also hear the sound of the children's cries. My heart wretched as I hear them, they have already suffered a painful lose and now this? Another very traumatic event. We were almost there when two rogues jumped infront of us. All of us stopped on our tracks. Their yellow eyes shines in mischief under the moonlight. Their teeth were blaring at us and they smell strongly like a rotting flesh. Daston and John shifted right before our very eyes and charged at the Rogues. We all took that as an opportunity to run and get to the orphanage. When we got there some of the kids were screaming and crying outside. Their instincts must have made them realize that something is wrong. When we got there, the pups immediately hugged us. Their tear stained faces were very heart breaking to look at. "Lia, do some head count. It should be 38." Kamille and I went
The pups and the non warriors were ushered to the hidden shelters/bunkers. Each pack has to built them in case of emergency cases like this. It is better to be safe than sorry. Because of our huge numbers and the vast territory, our pack has built multiple hidden bunkers. There is one on each side of the territory. Northern bunker, Southern bunker, Eastern bunker and the Western bunker. Ever since the attack that has happened 2 decades ago, the records of any rogue attacks that has been happening were very frequent. Even other packs were alarmed by the growing attacks of rogues in our territory. Up until now we don't have any idea why they are attacking. I went down on the stage
"All leaders? And yet the leader of the leaders did not even bother to show up." "He must be busy with paperworks." I rolled my eyes and clicked my tongue distastefully. Sure pops, defend him. Busy my *ss! Maybe he is indeed busy. Busy frolicking with wh*rish wolves. I seriously pity his mate though. We were only given one chance mate. One the rejection takes place it is like you are killing yourself. Our mates is our other half, without them ourself will lose all sense of direction. Other will die or will turn Rogue because of the heartbreak. The future Queen will have a really massive headache. IT is such a shame. While we were walking along the hallways I started to imagine torturous things that could inflict a great degree of pain on unfaitful wolves like him. Like maybe tying him upside down. Chopping his thingy off. Put him on an electric chair and electrecute him until he learns his lesson. I was th
