Chapter 11

Xavier's POV

I was shooting our enemies when I felt a bullet flying inches away from my face. I then turned to where it came from with wide eyes then to where the bullet landed with a thud following it. Looking down at a dead man's body I turn back again to Cloudethe who has a blank look on her face. We stared at each other for a minute until Bob informed me that only 4 of our men were injured and everything is clear that he already called someone to clean up the mess.

We are now sitting inside the car while my men cleans up the mess on the road. Good thing I always fly at night so there are no car passing by the road. I turn to my left to see Cloudethe reassembling her gun. She might have felt my gaze on her so she turn to me with cold eyes. She raised an eyebrow at me, "what are you looking at?" she asks sassily.
