ALORA

He kept staring at me, looking like I stabbed him with a knife and I sighed.

I actually scared him with what I did so I should apologize.

“I’m sorry I lied and used you. I just needed to do something.” I apologized and his expression softened a little.

Oh, he wanted an apology.

“I’m sorry,” I added and he was about to speak when his phone rang. He pulled it out of his pocket and I stared at him.

“Hey… “ he trailed off on the call and I tilted my head, seeing his expression had changed.

Hmm, there is something odd about him but I can't just tell what it is.

A thought popped into my head and I couldn't help but keep staring at him. He had a well-tailored suit on, which suddenly triggered a memory in my head.

The prostitute I had a one-night stand with also had a well-tailored suit on, he looked as elegant as him which made me take a step closer to him to get a better look.

He had a sharp jawline, and his eyes were Hazel. There were beads of sweat on his forehead and I furrowed my brows recalling the prostitute also had sweat on his forehead which trailed…

I shook my head and took a step back, there is no way a prostitute will be somewhere like this. And why the hell am I trying to recall a terrible night?

Besides, I was too drunk that night. I was seeing things.

“Anyway, bye.” I shrugged as he ended the call and was about to walk away when he grabbed my hand.

“Where do you think you are going?” he asked as his grip on her tightened and my lips parted in shock.

What? He wants money now?

“Do you want… want the coupon?” I stuttered confused and he glared at me. What? What did I do?

At least he doesn't want the coupon, I still need that when I head back to drown my thoughts in chicken and beer.

“Bring the car to the front,” he said on his phone, still holding me firmly and I started to get terrified.

“Wait. I already apologized and I gave you money too. I’m really sorry, sir. I just borrowed you for a few minutes.” I pleaded and tried to pull away but his grip on me was tight.

A car pulled over in front of us and he pulled me inside it.

“This is kidnapping!” I screamed in fear but he ignored me.

“Sir, the situation is bad.” the man driving said and I scoffed. He just kept going through his phone.

“Where are you taking me?” I asked but got no response.

I kept screaming and yelling for help but it was of no use.

“Where are you taking me?” I panicked as the car drove down a private road in an estate.

I am definitely getting sued. Why the hell did I do this? You should have just walked away Alora, you had to just call a stranger your fiancé.

The car stopped in front of a mansion and he was about to pull me out when tears welled up in my eyes. I am in enough mess already.

“Please, I’m sorry. I promise to pay you more than… “ I trailed off seeing the look on his face. He pulled me out of the car and into the house.

We got in and met a man pacing and a woman behind him.

“Dad, before you say anything, it wasn't me this time. I didn't fuck up. I was going and she pulled me over to the couple having a wedding at our hotel then said I am her boyfriend and we are getting married. She is just an obsessed fan.” he explained and I jerked my hand from him.

Who the hell is he calling an obsessed fan?

The middle-aged man looked at him, then at me and I stared back confused but terrified. He was intimidating and out of the blue, this looked serious.

“I’m sorry, how much trouble am I in because I don't understand what is going on?” I chuckled nervously as I stared back and forth between them.

Oh, I am in so much trouble.

“I am so sorry. I didn't mean to cause any trouble, I just borrowed him for a few minutes.” I apologized and the room was silent as the man ran his eyes over me.

“Am… am… Am I getting sued? Or arrested?” I asked, my voice low and I gulped. Shit, I still have debts to pay.

“So you both don't know each other and this post that has millions of views is a lie?” The middle-aged woman asked and my eyes widened.

Millions of views? A post? What post?

“I have never met her until minutes ago,” he replied.

“You agreed in front of reporters that she is your girlfriend and you both are getting married in a week, right?” The man asked, looking like he was thinking.

“Yes but Dad… “

“Good, you are both getting married in a week. The preparations will begin immediately,” he said and I froze. The guy’s eyes widened, same as me.

“What? What? What the fuck? What?” he raised his voice.

“Do you have a problem with that?” his father asked.

“Yes! I don't know this woman and I can't get married to her.”

Yeah, no shit. I don't even know his name and who wants to marry him?

“You should have thought of that before admitting that you are getting married to her in front of hundreds of reporters!” he yelled at him.

“That doesn't mean I have to marry her, we can call her a crazy fan… “

“You have caused enough damage and I can't let you bring more shame to me!” his father yelled and I flinched.

“If you were at the right place at the right time then this commoner wouldn't have made a fool out of you! You could have been anywhere else but the hotel, your cousin, Charles is at the company, working his ass off and you were at the hotel?!” his father yelled.

“What will happen if you come out and call her a crazy fan? This will raise news from the past that almost led to the end of this family! You have had so much history with girls and this will bring shame to the family again. You have done enough damage, you have dragged my name through the mud enough!” his father yelled at him, taking a step closer to him.

“I am tired of cleaning up your mess, it is time you face the consequences of your dumb actions. The world believes you are getting married to her in a week then you are.”

“If you don't get married to her then drop my last name and get the hell out of my life.”

Oh, shit! What the hell have I done?

Every time, he is always taking the fall for what I do. The car drove into a house, not a house, a mansion and I paused for a few seconds as I looked around from the car. I was about to rush after him when a middle-aged man showed up in front of me. I could tell he was resisting the urge to yell at me due to how hard his fist was clenched. “I’m… I’m… ““You just promised you wouldn't lie anymore and the next second, you lied to almost everyone in the world,” he added.“I didn't know the reporters would pay attention to

KELLAN “You were drugged, sir. It was part of his plan. He wanted to set you up with someone he hired then take pictures of you and post them at the perfect time.” I stared at my secretary as he broke the news to me. “And you are sure about this?” I questioned. “Yes, sir. My source confirmed this. You were drugged.” he replied and I exhaled heavily, clenching my fist. “You know this is bad, right? I was with someone that night but I can't remember anything. If this person realizes who I am, they will use it to their advantage and I can't let that happen, not now that I am trying to fix things.” I replied and he nodded. “I am aware sir. I will try to find her and pay her off but we should be grateful he failed. You didn't sleep with who he hired.” “That doesn't make it any better!” I raised my voice and he flinched. “I can't even remember what happened that night clearly so how the hell do you want to find her? You know how bad they want to get rid of me, if this get
