ALORA

“So do you guys have any prostitutes around here?” I asked, my voice trembling as I took another shot and the barman stared at me without a response.

I had no idea why I was asking, I just felt like I needed to. I don't know what to do, the alcohol was probably doing all this.

“What? Are you not going to respond?” I added, wondering why he was staring at me like he was pitying me. I don't want that.

“I think you have had enough, ma’am. I will call you a cab,” he replied gently and I shook my head repeatedly as tears welled up in my eyes.

“No, no, just tell me what I want. Please.” I pleaded with tears blurring my vision as memories of what happened a couple of hours ago flooded in.

It was supposed to be the best date night ever; it was supposed to be our last date night as fiancés because our wedding is in a week. A fucking week!

The moans, groans, and cries of pleasure were echoing in my head and I whimpered a little as I placed my head on the counter.

He cheated on me, Jake cheated on me with my friend. My best friend!

I spent three years being a good girlfriend to Jake and he decided to ruin it by having sex with my best friend, Monroe.

I scoffed in tears, recalling his excuse for cheating. His words were still so clear in my head.

“You wouldn't have sex with me and I was horny. Monroe was willing to have sex with me so I did.”

It is not bad to want to stay a virgin until the wedding night so it could be special. I thought it would be special, I wanted it to be special!

“A cab should be here in five minutes.” I heard the barman say, and I looked up at him.

“If you walk around, you can find one. Check the first floor.” A lady suddenly said and I turned to see her at the end of the counter. She smiled at me and I sighed with a little nod back at her.

“I have to pee,” I announced with a trembling voice and sniffed. I don't even know why I announced that.

With a heavy heart, I dragged my feet out of the bar and was about to head to the bathroom when I found myself heading towards the elevator.

I pressed the button for the first floor and waited till the elevator doors opened. I stepped out as it did and immediately bumped into a man.

He was dressed in a well-tailored suit. He took a step back and shook his head a little.

“Hmm, hi. Do you know where I can… “ I trailed off as my voice shook and tears welled up in my eyes. What the hell are you doing here, Alora?

I sniffed and turned to leave but turned back to the man again.

My vision was a little blurry, which means I had had too much but I could still see this man a little.

He had beads of sweat on his forehead and I watched them trail down to the corners of his face.

He looked good, so better than a prostitute. His well-tailored suit fitted his body perfectly.

Maybe being drunk was making it easier for me to notice every little detail about him but he looked so good. He is handsome so handsome it felt like I was seeing an angel.

Again, he looked different to me, like his whole face had changed and I stiffened a little.

‘Oh, I am so drunk!’ I screamed in my head.

I won't have any memory of this in the morning, I feared I might black out.

“Are… are you one? Can you… can you… “ I kept stuttering as I looked at him and he just kept staring at me.

My heart was racing, my hands were trembling as I took a step closer to him. He held my gaze as I got closer to him and I could feel his breath on my face.

I felt a little shiver, being drunk might have made me sensitive. I shut my eyes a little, tilted my head, and kissed.

Should I be kissing a prostitute? A stranger? Well, this man has too many tempting features for a prostitute.

I kissed him but he wasn't reciprocating and I started to feel awkward. Just when I was about to pull away, he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer then reciprocated.

He held me firmly as he kissed me and he took control of the kiss immediately.

I don't know how but we got into a room in seconds and I felt my back come in contact with the bed.

I thought of stopping this but the thought vanished almost immediately as he ran his hands over my body.

He pulled away from the kiss and trailed kisses down my body, taking his time like he was worshipping every part of my body.

I stared at him with teary eyes as he took off my clothes. He stared at my body for a few seconds and I gulped, thinking he got irritated but instead, he kissed me again and I couldn't help but moan.

I know I will cry about this later but fuck it!

As he kissed me, he took off his clothes until he was unclad too.

He pulled away from the kiss, held my gaze, and stared at my teary eyes. He probably wonders why I am crying and looks pathetic.

He raised a hand to my hair as he held my gaze.

Are prostitutes always this passionate with their clients? I suddenly felt him enter me and I winced out loud. For a second I forgot I was a virgin!

Fuck, this hurts like hell!

I cried out loud and dug my nails into his back which made him groan.

He was gentle for a prostitute, too gentle. He might have noticed I was in pain and he took his time.

He slowly locked hands with me and he moved in and out. That didn't stop my tears though.

This just felt wrong and right at the same time. I can't believe I just had sex with a stranger.

I can't believe I just had a one-night stand as a virgin!

I was about to rush after him when a middle-aged man showed up in front of me. Behind him were ladies dressed in uniform and I could tell they were maids, they were also positioned at a few corners in the living room.“Mrs. Torrington, welcome,” he said and bowed a little. Confused about who he was or what to do, I slowly looked around and bowed to him

Why do they always have to be present when I lie? They are the ones making this worse, they are spreading the lies. My eyes drifted to Mr. Torrington and he was staring at me with an expression I couldn't understand. I looked away immediately and gulped. I keep making things complicated for them. “Excuse me, I need to speak to my wife privately,” Kellan told the reporters, held my hand then pulled me out of the hall. “I know you are upset, I didn't mean to lie… ““What is wrong with you?” he cut me off, glaring hard at me and I paused. I could tell he was resisting the urge to yell at me due to how hard his fist was clenched. “I’m… I’m… ““You just promised you wouldn't lie anymore and the next second, you lied to almost everyone in the world,” he added.“I didn't know the reporters would pay attention to

ALORA He kept staring at me, looking like I stabbed him with a knife and I sighed. I actually scared him with what I did so I should apologize. “I’m sorry I lied and used you. I just needed to do something.” I apologized and his expression softened a little. Oh, he wanted an apology. “I’m sorry,” I added and he was about to speak when his phone rang. KELLAN “You were drugged, sir. It was part of his plan. He wanted to set you up with someone he hired then take pictures of you and post them at the perfect time.” I stared at my secretary as he broke the news to me. “And you are sure about this?” I questioned. “Yes, sir. My source confirmed this. You were drugged.” he replied and I exhaled heavily, clenching my fist. “You know this is bad, right? I was with someone that night but I can't remember anything. If this person realizes who I am, they will use it to their advantage and I can't let that happen, not now that I am trying to fix things.” I replied and he nodded. “I am aware sir. I will try to find her and pay her off but we should be grateful he failed. You didn't sleep with who he hired.” “That doesn't make it any better!” I raised my voice and he flinched. “I can't even remember what happened that night clearly so how the hell do you want to find her? You know how bad they want to get rid of me, if this get
