LOUIS’s point of View

Stepping into the car, Kai stared at me expectantly, looking over my body, probably to see if he would find any blood that belonged to Leah.

“She is fine! Stop looking at me that way.” I glared at him and he took a deep breath of relief. “Thank you.” He mumbled before bringing the car back to life. He had gone into the drivers seat. “Where to now? Your mini house?”

“The kids… i need the distraction.” I responded looking out of the window as he began reversing.

He was driving already but kept sneaking glances at me. “Are you alright?” He asked finally, taking a turn through the Villa to the right.

“Leah wasn’t told we were not actually mates.” I began and Kai’s head jerked to me, Probably as shocked as i was when i figured it out. “My Father might be a monster but he didn’t deceive me into mating her, he forced me instead. Her father? He hexed and lied to her.”
