The curse

Lucas' point of view:

While making our way back to the packhouse, I started thinking of making my move. I want her to walk by my side holding a hand to hand with me.

It's sort of funny to think about the whole situation, I mean I spent a year waiting for such a moment, and now that she's by my side I'm acting like a coward.

I wasn't that coward a while ago when I kissed her, yet I keep on getting my hand close to her hand then I back off to where I was at the start.

On the other hand, she seems not to notice my moves. We kept on walking until we reached half of the way, then with no previous warning she stopped. her eyes moved to where a wine bottle was settled next to one of the trees. It was obvious that it wasn't just wine, the smell of the blood was finding its way toward both of us.

Unexpectedly, Stephanie stepped toward the bottle then started drinking. I couldn't help but to snatched the bottle out of her hands, then throw it aw
