"You mean to say she messed up your weekend trip to South Padre Island?" Ann asked Kathrine while on their way to Wine and dine. Ann sat on the driver seat, listening to her friend.
"I wouldn't put it that way, exactly. She needed him and I wouldn't want to blame anyone. He is after all her best friend and he would do anything for her." There was a slight amount of sadness visible in her tone. They hadn't discussed about the issue after that night except for Ashton's apologies to Katherine.
She did not want to seem like the girlfriend who desperately wanted to go on a trip. She did not want to hold him responsible for the one mistake that he had done instead she wanted to end the argument and move forward. She knew that Ashton could take her on many
such trips if he wanted to.
