THIRD PERSON POV:

Lisa ran through the dark woods, her heart pounding hard. The kiss with Ronan still burned on her lips, but fear twisted in her stomach.

She had betrayed Darius by telling Ronan first. Now she had no choice, she had to go back and tell him what she saw. If she lied or hid anything, he would know. He always knew.

She reached her pack’s land just before the sun came up. The sky was turning pale gray. She slipped into her small house, washed away the dirt and sweat, and changed into a simple dress. Her body still ached from before, an annoying reminder of how easily he took her apart. She pushed the feeling down and walked to his big house.

The guards nodded and let her pass. They never asked questions when it was her because she was their Luna as long as he hadn't officially rejected her.

Darius was already in his office, sitting behind the wide oak desk like a king on his throne. When the door opened and he saw her, his lips curved into a slow, satisfied smile.

THIRD PERSON POV:Lisa clutched her crumpled dress to her chest. Her legs felt like water, shaky. She bent to pick up her underwear from the floor, trying to cover herself quickly. Sweat still clung to her skin, and the ache between her legs pulsed with every small movement. She just wanted to leave, to hide, to pretend none of this had happened. She took one step toward the door. Two tall figures stepped into the doorway, blocking her path.Darius’s personal guards, Kael and Thorne. Both handsome in a rough, dangerous way. Kael had sharp cheekbones and dark eyes that never smiled. Thorne was broader, with a scar running down one side of his jaw and golden hair tied back. They stood shoulder to shoulder, arms crossed, filling the space like walls.Lisa froze. Her heart slammed against her ribs. She looked back at Darius. He was still sitting in his big chair, his shirt open, and pants zipped but unbuttoned. He looked relaxed. Satisfied. Dangerous.“You kissed my enemy,” he said quie

THIRD PERSON POV:He pushed in slowly, inch by inch stretching her, filling her completely. Lisa’s head fell back. A long moan escaped her throat. He stayed still for a moment, letting her feel every thick inch of him buried deep. Then he started to move.Long, deep thrusts at first. Each one pulled almost all the way out, then sank back in until their hips met with a soft slap. He watched her face the whole time, loving how her lips parted, how her eyes fluttered shut.He sped up gradually. Harder. Deeper. The desk rocked under them. Papers slid to the floor again. Lisa wrapped her legs around his waist, pulling him closer. Her nails dug into his shoulders, leaving red marks. He growled low in his throat and flipped her over suddenly. Now she was bent over the desk, breasts pressed to the cool wood, ass in the air. He gripped her hips and thrust back in from behind, harder this time, no mercy. Each stroke hit deep, making her cry out. He reached around and rubbed her clit in tight ci

LYRA:“Good morning!” Cole chirped, snapping me out of my imagination of the dream I had just had.He must have spotted my eye open but unfocused.I sighed, looking him in the eyes. “Good morning,” I answered. “Were you able to get any sleep?”“Nah, don’t bother yourself about me. I’ll be fine.” He smiled as he stood up from the stone.I sat up. “Bothered about you? I am not bothered about you. I am bothered about myself. If something comes up, you won’t have the strength to protect me. Not that I care about you at all,” I said, raising an eyebrow and folding my hands.“But the sounds you made… the way you whispered my name last night?” He smirked. “That was something else entirely.”He glanced back at me. “Come on. We don’t have time for this. We need to move, now.”He pushed through the curtain of leaves and kept walking. My feet stayed rooted.Heat roared up my neck and burned across my cheeks.Did I… actually say his name like that? Out loud?I stood up quickly, following behind.

RONAN:“Hello, Master Ronan.” His shaky voice came from the phone.“Which among you is this?” I asked.“Sir, this is Philip. We were attacked by a group of men in a van. Jackson was shot in the head, and I drove the car into the lake. The current pulled us toward the waterfall. I had to go get help, so I left.”“But you said you tried helping Lyra and she said no and all that stuff, didn’t you?” I asked. He stammered but didn’t say anything. That was all I needed. Lyra wouldn’t want to die because of the pup, so it was clear already. He ran.“You know what? I want you to do something for me, Philip. Give me the exact place you abandoned Lyra and her unborn child so I can come over,” I snarled.“I am sorry, sir, I didn’t…”I cut the call.“The water carried them there. That’s why she is so far away,” I said.“But can it take her so far?” Silas asked.“That’s the only way,” I said. “You said it yourself. The island is a seven day journey by the normal route. She must have been carried t

RONAN:“I know where Lyra could be,” I stated. “Lisa said—”“Lisa said nothing, Ronan,” he snapped.“If she ever wanted to help, then she wouldn’t try to make you cheat on Lyra like that,” he explained, anger filling his eyes.“How did she know where you are? How did she know who Lyra is? And why do you trust her?” he asked, frowning.“But why do you act like she’s a stranger?” I asked.“I never liked that tramp, not for one second, because I know what she tried to do in your head before,” Silas confessed.“She said she knew who Lyra was because Darius sent her to do a spell to find Lyra, the same spell she did to find me just now,” I explained. “She said I should get Lyra first before Darius finds Lyra, because she will have to report back to Darius,” I added, folding my hands.Silas sighed, dropping his head to the ground.“How do we find Lyra?” he asked.“She said Lyra was on an island very far away from land,” I explained.“That doesn’t make sense. I mean, how can she be so far aw
