Chapter 19_ Everyone's Frustrated
After a warm bath, Amethyst stepped out of the bathroom and changed into her pajamas. Rinari had left as soon as she dropped her off at the house, without even entering the gate.
Her mind brought Amethyst back to how she got in the hospital for passing out again. But the weird thing was, there was no Nicolai when she opened her eyes, which was the usual scene she had.
She furrowed her brows as if doing so could help her fill in the gaps of memories she had before unconsciousness hit her.
“I remembered Steffani calling out to me. But why was she so mad?”
She slammed her body in bed and stared at the ceiling with lights blinking from normal to a rainbow-colored one. Then it hit the nerve!
