Chapter 20 _ Bitterfly to Biterfly
“Tiffney!” Salazar sped like a lightning bolt towards Sabrina, covering her from his wife. “What the hell was that for?!”
Sabrina held her cheek, which was still burning like hell, releasing some icicles from her palm to cool it.
“I allowed her to do what she wants, and this is how she repays me?! I only ask her one thing: DO. NOT. TOUCH. AMETHYST!”
“Why is she more important to you? I’m your daughter,” Sabrina cried in Salazar’s embrace.
“I want her alive because she’s more powerful than you!” Tiffney vanished into thin air, and Salazar was left to console his daughter.
He guided her to be seated on the couch. “I’m sorry, honey. Your mother is obsessed with being the most powerful, and Amethyst, being the last heir of the Hiwita clan, is her only hope to achieve her desire.”
“Is that the reason you are always away?”
“We’re having business with your uncle Braeden.”
