Chapter 41

Vanessa tried eavesdropping from Lindsey's office door but Lindsey's secretary, Kimberly kept glancing at her and she knew better than to keep standing there. She adjusted her clothes and walked back to her office hoping to get the information she needed one way or the other.

Immediately she entered her office, she found Cynthia's text on her phone. "How did it go?, I'm sure she bought it" Vanessa read the text within herself before sending her own reply letting out the part about Miguel and Lindsey's suspicious relationship, she knew Cynthia was a blabbermouth and a wild beast and she wouldn't want unverified news to be flying around the internet. She needed to get her facts right before anything and she would hold unto the information and use it as her own weapon.

"So, what business are you talking about," Lindsey asked adjusting on her seat. "Flyheart conglomerate is introducing a new business in town and we want Dior Events to be our major partners," Miguel said and Lindsey nodd
