Blake’s POV

Five days had passed and there had been no sign of him. It was like he had fallen off the Earth. I sent people out everyday. But there wasn’t even a single piece of evidence that suggested he had returned home or that he had come anywhere near my pack.

Lana wasn’t herself either. She would wander the house. Often deep in thought. I tried to talk to her but it was like talking to a brick wall. Anything that I said just didn’t sink in. Sometimes I would find her in a corner, muttering to Freya. They would stop talking the moment they saw me.

I didn’t like the witch being here, but I had very little choice in the matter. Calvin had already marked the witch. If I threw her out, then I would have problems with my brother and Lana. It was a shitty scenario that I was trying my hardest to ignore. Aiming to focus on the bigger problem of Logan.

I still don’t like Blake. He doesnt deserve to be her mate. Logan has been screwed over just like Lana and they are being pushed to the brink. I hope Lana and Logan can get peace.
