Chapter 16 : Forget

Paalis na ako ng bahay nang makita ko ang wedding photo album namin ni Blue. At sa bawat litrato namin ni Blue kahit isa ay walang kuha na nakangiti siya, kung mayroon man ay tipid ang kanyang ngiti at mukha napilitan lamang. 

I closed my eyes and let out the tears I had been holding back. I remembered Blue’s voice again after we did that last night. 

After Blue mentioned Perrine’s name, I never spoke to him again. He wanted the two of us to discuss why he suddenly mentioned Perrine’s name. But, I refused. I’m afraid to hear in his own mouth that he doesn’t love me, and just did sex and we didn’t make love. 

Pinunasan ko ng mabilis ang mga luha nang mayroon kumatok sa pintuan. 

“Pasok!” Sigaw ko habang mabilis na pinupunasan ang mga pisngi ko.   

“Dana?”

“Scarlet!”  Pilit ako ngumiti nang tingnan siya. 

Lumapit si Scarlet sa akin at tinabihan ako sa pag-upo sa kama.
