Amelia came down from the taxi which stopped by the street leading to her house. She ran fast because she didn't want people to stare at her or anyone to ask her what happened.

Her younger sisters, Mabel and Maria were worried about her. When she hadn't returned last night, Mabel had called her number many times but she did not answer.

Worried, Mabel had called her friend Ivy who informed her that Amy was spending the night at the palace. Despite hearing from Ivy, Mabel had still been worried.

Amy wasn't the sort to spend the night outside her home, she had never done so and there was also the issue of her not answering her calls. She knew that Ivy was hiding something from her but there was nothing she could do at that moment.

They both decided to stay back from the market and wait for Amy, if she didn't come back or return their calls, they would go to the palace and search for her.
