Aruin hands the tiny bottle with three drops of my blood to the seer while I hold my bleeding hand on top of another small bottle until several more drops fall in. I figured out that it's better to pay the Seer and the Sincarion at once rather than cut myself again later.

Linda pours the medicine that the Seer provided on the wound and wraps a piece of clean cloth around my hand to cover the wound.

"I would hate to be you," she says.

I ignore her as I am sure that deep inside she means the opposite. I hand the Sincarion his payment and turn to leave.

"I can use my powers to take away your pain, if you do not mind," angel Adon offers as we make our way out of the cave.

I nod. "Just do not do more than that."

The pain from the wound disappears and I inwardly sigh in relief. His powers are of great use if only he can be trusted to always use them for good.

"Thank you," I say.

"I am glad you let me help. It's a good step towards rebuilding the trust we have lost," he replies
