When Drake said hall of mirrors and that it was in Horror Land, I half expected it to be something truly frightening, but so far, the only frightening thing was the maze which I hit my head on a few times, thinking it was an exit when in actuality, it was another see-through glass block. The last part of the attraction was funny mirrors that bent and twisted your body into funny shapes.
Making a few funny faces, the three of us couldn’t help but laugh. Hearing Kain laughing so brightly only made me laugh more, and a warmth spread throughout my body. He was such a different person when able to relax like this. I was glad he felt so comfortable around me now, that it really warmed my heart.
The question was, how much further could I fall in love with this man?

I groan softly as the sun gets in my eyes. I turn over to face away from the cursed light and land straight into Kain’s arms. He instinctively pulls me in closer, nuzzling into the crook of my neck.
