"Let's take your car Kat. It's so much nicer than mine." Allie said. "I wish my parents would buy me a brand new Mercedes. Can we take the top down?"

Kats Mom was out of town with a man she had been seeing and wouldn't be home until late tomorrow. Kat didn't know who this man was but it must be serious if her Mom was spending a night away with him.

"Sure get in." Kat was not in the best mood but figured it was best if she drove anyway incase Allie decided to drink. "So why are you all of the sudden so interested in going to a party at the Whitmore bothers house"

Allie knew this was coming and decided to fess up "Zane Whitmore and I have been talking. He's not as bad as everyone says. He's been really sweet to me. I like him a lot Kat."

"OMG Allie! What if this is some kind of trick or set up! You know those two don't have girlfriends! He probably just wants in your pants!!"

"I knew you would say something like that, that's why I haven't told you! You're supposed to be my best friend Kat why can't you just be supportive? "

"I'm driving you to his house, dressed up like a fool aren't I? I just don't want to see you get hurt Allie. If you really like him I'll give him a chance but if he hurts you he's going to be sorry."

Kat and Allie pulled up to the Whitmore brother's house and went inside.
