Calliope

"Order up!"

"I dont know katie im just not big into birthdays"

"Come on Cali, it's not just for you. I invited that cute guy Jake from my religions class, and this'll give me the chance to....get to know him better. You're a Junior is college, live a little! " Katie winked at me, cluing me in that this party has less to do with me and more to do with her wanting a booty call with her new summer fling. Katie was one of those girls who never had a shortage of guys hanging around. With short blonde hair cut off in a cute bob, perky boobs, tan sun kissed skin and a thin figure that even Tyra Banks would be jealous of its no wonder guys would do anything just to get a chance at sleeping with her. I on the other hand was no so blessed, with messy red hair that never seemed to want to cooperate, lanky arms and legs that I tripped over constantly and skin as pale a ghost I definitely was not someone guys usually looked at twice after seeing Katie in the room. Not that she seemed to notice, no matter how popular she got in highschool and into college she always seemed to want to drag me around insisting I was some thing of beauty. Whatever the reason I was definitely grateful for her friendship, she is the reason I stayed sane the last few years and if not for her I never would have left my dorm room.

"Fine, when is it?" I sigh, already regretting my choice.

"Eeep! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Okay so Jake is getting home from his summer abroad next week so how does next Saturday sound? He said his Frat brothers will let us host at their house." She shrieked hitting a note only dogs can hear.

"Whatever" i say waving her off "just no singing and no cake" I walk to the back fridge to restock the kitchen.

"DEAL! Oh I am so excited! Im going to go call him now, ill message you when I have more details, love you!" She yells as she dashes out the door.

"You know, you arent supposed to do things for other people on YOUR birthday Calliope".

"Well technically my birthday is'nt until tomorrow and its just one day Andy, besides birthdays are just another day, nothing special" I knew he didnt mean anything by it, but I really did not feel like explaining to my manager my sordid history with birthdays. How my parents refused to allow my brother and I to invite anyone or celebrate them in any way growing up. I had wished when I was a kid that I could be like everyone else, but after almost 20 years I had gotten over it, birthdays are not special.

"If you say so, why dont you let me finish this and you go on home, and if you end up needing an excuse to get out of that party just let me know and I can schedule a shift for you. Or…… you know if you ever wanted to go out for coffee or something my offer still stands" Andy was a nice guy, conventionally handsome. Six foot something, blonde hair, blue eyes, chiseled jaw with a musclular physicque. It was not lost on me the amount of girls who hit on him when they came into the restaurant, but he never gave them the time of day. I knew he had a major crush on me since he'd hired me for the summer while I waited for my college classes to start back up, but I wasnt looking for a summer fling and he just wasnt my type. Katie had begged me to give him a chance or even just sleep with him so she could "live vicariously" but he is just too nice and sweet I couldn't do that to him. Plus i'd be heading back to school in a few weeks and no relationship was going to keep me from packing my bags and leaving this small town and heading back to campus.

"Thanks, i'll let you know Andy" I said with a sympathetic smile and in a tone that I hoped told him no in the kindest possible. I quickly ripped my apron off and collected my belongings before saying my thanks and waving goodbye for the night.

"Night! I yell down to my family as I close my bedroom door and practically bolt for my bed. Quickly stripping down to nothing until I collapse onto my bed. I close my eyes hoping to fall asleep, but I'm too wound up to sleep. I roll onto my back thinking maybe an orgasm will bring me some relief. As my fingers glide against my wet entrace I can feel the heat from my core aching to be touched. It has been too long, maybe I should reconsider Katie's suggestion to give Andy a night. As I lay there and imagine Andy fingers gliding inside of me, my heart pounds. Him twisting my nipple until it pebbles, lightly biting it making me let out a quiet moan. His large hand around my neck pining me to the bed as he whispers in my ear asking me if I think I deserve to cum, I can feel my release nearing as his fingers curl inside of me faster hitting that perfect spot, my face turns hot as I buck against his touch. As satisfaction courses through me and I come down from the edge, I close my eyes and finally drift off to sleep.

Alexander I can feel her heart pounding as I grip her wrist tighter. I pull her closer to me and feel her perfect breasts pressed against me. She smells clean like honeysuckle and spring water. Her stormy eyes meet mine as King Elirond speaks behind her, though I can not seem to catch what he is saying I am too enthralled by the woman infront of me. I have to admit hearing her distaste for me already makes me bite back a sly smile. She has fire, she seems nothing like the sycophants back home who would do anything to be in my bed. Not that they had much of a choice being that I was "blessed" as my father says. When looking into my eyes women fall madly in love with me, more like lust. The feelings aren't true and fade with time once they are no longer in my presence. I learned that the hard way one too many times, never again. Lost in thought my grip loosens, she wriggles free and stumbles backwards. "Sorry to disappoint, but I won't be marrying anyone, so you'll have to go find s

Calliope "That doesn't explain why I am here, and if you loved her so much why would you let your pregnant wife just up and leave?" The dots still weren't quite connecting and I am determined to find out. "Yes I apologize. I forgetyou know nothing of our ways. When you make a bargain with a Fae it is binding on both ends until death. If either side is broken both parties will die. Very few creatures still dare to make these deals knowing it comes at such high a cost, but in the event that a deal with struck, it can not be undone. Your mother knew this and risked everything for it. Her request was simple enough, she asked to be released for her marital bonds so she could live out her days in the human world. This angered me so I obliged under one condition, that she provide an heir and on their 20th birthday they would rule beside me. To this she agreed rather quickly. Out of spite I decided that as part of this bargain she would never be permitted to return. She asked if that was

Calliope "No, I-no that's not true. My father's name is John Thompson and you are definitely NOT him. I don't know what game you're playing or what you think you're going to get out of this lie, but I'm done." I search around the room for a weapon and land on a large carving knife on the table. I lunge for it and hold it out in front of me ready to defend myself if I have to. "Now just let me go and we can all pretend this never happened." I say, slowly backing away towards the door we came in from. The man claiming to be my father looks at me like hes disappointed with my reaction. Yeah I bet dude, I don't plan on sitting idly by while you shove lies down my throat, and to what end? What was his end game here? Whatever it is I don't give a flying fuck, mother has clearly given up on me so I guess i'll just have to save myself. "Calliope, I speak the truth. Twenty years ago your mother and I were arranged to be married to produce an heir for the throne. The previous heir died tra

Elirond This nectar wine tastes especially bitter, so I have one of the kitchen staff bring us a new bottle. Everything has to be perfect before she arrives. I hear a familiar sound coming down the hallway outside the dining hall doors that makes me stand, preparing for our guest of honor. As the doors open I see a face that looks much like my own staring back at me in a long green dress, much the same as the one her mother wore the day she left my court. Though her features are more human in nature due to the unfortunate glammer she still wears, her mothers doing im sure, there is no mistaking her place as a part of the Fae. Her bright red hair tied back in a low pony tail, with sparkling green eyes the color of the vines that cover the kingdom. Her skin a much darker tone than that of her mother or I giving her the illusion of having been out in the sun. I see on her feet the source of that once familiar sound, a pair of ratty sneakers adorn her feet making me chuckle to myself, h

Calliope"You know my mother?" I asked, confused by her familiarity. "Of course, she was my ward for many years before she married your father. She was such a wonderfully intelligent woman, with a crackling wit and more beautiful than a water lilly in Spring . I have never forgiven myself for what happened between them and I will do what I can to protect you from the same fate." She reached out her hand to caress my cheek in such a tender way tears started to spill from my eyes until I was full on sobbing from the stress of everything that had happened in the last 24 hours. She pulled me into a tight hug and it felt so comforting. Once I had finally found the ability to breathe again I found myself with one burning question. "You said you knew her when she married my father, does he know I'm here? Do you know if him and my brother are ok?" She looked like at me like she was wanting to say something, but decided against it. "Please, bathed and put on some clean clothes and meet

  • I was Promised to a Warlock   Chapter 9

Calliope "She has not yet awoken, I can bring her to your room when she is properly dressed if you would like ma'am" I hear a woman say. As I open my eyes I see what looks like a large room filled with green and gold accents everywhere, the floor and walls are covered in what looks like carpeted moss. The bed im on has a large gold canopy ontop of four tall wooden posts. As I stare at the ceiling I see small lights twinkling, almost moving. The sheets are the softest thing iv ever felt and the mattress feels like a thousand clouds and I never want to leave, but eventually my curiosity wins out. I brace myself for the pain as I swing my legs over the side but im pleasantly surprised to find that I feel fine. I am grateful that whatever pain relief I was given has yet to wear off because I know when it comes back its going to feel like I was hit by a train. Once I make it to my feet I start to creep closer to the voices behind the large wooden double doors to listen more carefully.
