LOGINAlpha Trexor's POV
She was the most beautiful human I have ever seen.
Okay, maybe the second most beautiful but she was very attractive.
From the moment our eyes locked together, I felt different.
For the first time in my life, I felt butterflies in my stomach.
I saw her at her most vulnerable and my mind could not stop thinking about her which was weird because I wasn't supposed to be attracted to a human.
They were weaklings and no Alpha in his right sense would want his Luna to be an normal human.
But there was something about Liya.
The way her face was flushed beautifully from panic and nervousness, the way her hair laid back even after she was running for hours and the way she pleaded with dense water in her eyes, like she would sacrifice anything and everything for me.
I was not going to let her end up like the other humans on the field, working for the wolves, I wanted to keep her as mine.
Not someone special, just a play thing for the meantime.
Suddenly I heard the seer’s words ringing loudly in my ear.
One for crown, one for love. Your greatest strength and undoing she'll be. The moon goddess’ gift.
I let go of her immediately and she fell backwards on the ground, wincing in pain.
I clapped and the door opened, two maids stepped in.
“You called, my Alpha”.
I glanced at Liya, she looked up at me her eyes full of fear.
“Take her away and tend to her wounds”.
******************
I jolted when I heard the door behind me open up and I turned around to see her walk into the room with a nice gown, her hair washed and a perfume scent that captured my sense of smell.
“Wow…”
I stared at her from head to toe as she approached me, my eyes lingering from her face to her chest, admiring the large lumps on her chest and to the way the gown framed her curvy waist.
Something about her lightened me up.
I was craving her scent and touch, in the most sexual manner.
“Do I look funny? I could not get a strong hair brush to comb my hair and I just cannot get my hair to-”
I did not let her finish her complaints. I held up a hand and beckoned at her to come forward.
She approached me quietly and stopped.
I put my hands in her hair, swindled my fingers in it and rested my face on her neck, close to her ear and just inhaled her scent as I pulled her close to me.
She smelled like roses dipped inside of vanilla and her hair smelled like scented candles.
I moved my head higher to her ears, sticking out my tongue and licking the edges of her ear.
She flinched.
“Why are you nervous?”.
I asked her when I noticed the punding rhythms coming off from her chest.
“I-i am scared.”
I smiled on her neck and licked her ear lobes even harder, grabbing her full neck into my hands and caressing it with my fingers.
“Scared of what?”
I asked her softly, raising my head up and moving to her face.
I kept her face still and maintained eye contact.
“Would you hurt me? Am I safe with you?” Why are you protecting-”
I shut her up with a kiss, catching her unaware as I took my tongue into her mouth and brushing it against her lips.
If she was going to serve me, she had to serve me well.
I brushed my mouth against hers, warming her up with a kiss and satisfying my urges with her lips.
She tasted divine but she did not kiss back. She stood there, dumbfounded and speechless, most likely still shaking with fear.
I took my time to show love on her lips, smooching all over her face and licking her up.
I pulled away and searched her face for a reaction.
“How did that feel?”
“That was the most intense kiss I have ever had, it was magical.” She replied as though in a daze.
“You do not have to be scared, Liya. I am going to protect you and make you mine.”
Those words slipped out on purpose.
It was manipulative from my end and I just hoped she did not see it that way.
“You saved me and I owe you my life.”
She fell on her knees and bowed before me, stretching her hands and mumbling.
“Long live the Alpha!”
I smiled out and held out my hand, signalling her to get back on her feet.
“Get up Liya and dust yourself up. We have a werewolf party to attend together.”
“Together? Like as a couple?” she asked, wide eyed.
There was sharp enthusiasm in her voice.
“Something like that.”
“Am I your Luna?”
I paused for a couple of seconds while looking at her. For some reason whatsoever I just couldn't bring myself to be ruthless.
Cold, hurt her feelings
Choosing a human to be my Luna would not only bring disgrace to my pack but it would make me a weak phantom. I can never accept that.
“My Luna is whoever I mate with during mating season. For now, you are under my love and protection.”
“Thank you…”
“You should go prepare”, I replied waving her off.
She left the room to get ready for the party and I entered my inner hidden Chambers, to other side of the house den where my Beta stayed.
I had my room adjacent to my Beta's in case I needed his help immediately.
“Liam, are you around?”
I climbed down the staircase and into the room where he usually sleeps.
He was laying on his bed, and he looked like he was fast asleep.
I nudged him to wake up.
“Who is it?”
His voice sounded husky and tired.
“Your Alpha.” I replied with a roll of my eyes.
With those words, he sprang up from the bed and bowed his head at me.
“Welcome, Alpha. I am sorry, I was resting from the human hunt we went on last night.”
“I figured. I came to remind you about the wolf meeting we are having tonight.”
He rubbed his chin.
“I doubt if a party would bring the Alpha to my chamber.”
“I also came to ask when the wolf heiress would arrive our pack. Mating season is a few months to come.”
“Oh- I thought you wanted the human you protected to be your mate?”
“She is just a cover up.”
There was a brief silence and I focused my gaze on a table sculpture of the moon goddess sitting on Liam's table.
“And she may have ties to the moon goddess.
Liya's POVI woke up to the housekeeper rearranging the room and dusting the table.Trexor was not on the bed. I recalled the event from last night.Trexor had looked up wondering what was up with me but I'd been so terrified to my bones to even speak.I just mumbled that I was scared of the dark and he chuckled and went back to sleep.“You're doing pretty nice”, I said as I sat up and reached out to gather my hair over my shoulder.“Thank you ma'am”.“You have very dark circles around your eyes, when did you last sleep well?”I asked in a very polite manner.“Oh-I have not slept well in like five days.”“Why is that?”“I have been helping the Beta prepare for the mating ceremony coming up soon.”My heart skipped when I heard the last part.“A mating ceremony is coming up?”“Yes. The mating ceremony is due in ten blood moons.”“Ohhh. I was not aware.”“The Alpha should have told you maybe it skipped his mind.”Maybe…or maybe he purposely did not tell me because I am not his fated mate
AlphaLiya’s POVI clutched my hand back into his, this time tighter so he would not pull out.He did, nodding at someone across the table. He has been doing this all night.Taking my hands out from his embrace, especially when we were around other female werewolves.I mean we were partners for the night, we had to act like one.I did not read much meaning into it but now that we were all seated on a round dining table, eating and chatting, I put pieces of the night together. He had been getting distant from time to time with me. Intentionally.“Would the Alpha like another bottle of wine?”The waiter asked us, his face brightened up by a smile.I could tell he was human, with the way his face looked. It was more tender. The humans were practically made to serve werewolves.“No-“I cut the Alpha off before he could complete his sentence.“Y-yes. He means yes. Bring in more wine. We dine and wine till the last wolf growls.”I said to the waiter and he nodded, wandering off.“Why did yo
Liya's POVNone of the stories that humans were told about were myths.Infact, everything looked more graphical in real life, from the hollow walls that had silver chandeliers and very dimmed out lights to the wooden carved antiques mirrors and tables. There was low jazz music playing in the background, and the female werewolf outfits were blinding my eyes. They were all dressed like they were ready to kill and their gowns glittered all over the room.I could not get my eyes off how stunning they were and I was mesmerised by how eloquently they talked, walked and interacted with the male Werewolves.Alpha Trexor had invited me to their gala. It felt surreal.“If you stare at them for that long, they would know you are human.”My heart jumped when I heard a voice from behind me and a hand landed on my shoulder.I turned around immediately with my hands to my heart. The face in front of me looked very familiar but I could not remember where I had seen it before.“How do you know I-”“Oh

Liya's POVRun Liya, run!!“I can perceive traces of her human scent from the back of the oak tree over there. Go!”I heard one of the wolves growl out from my hiding spot and my heart sank into my stomach. My hands were shaking and it was difficult for me to control my heaving.I took out the perfume from my bag with shaky hands and sprayed it on my skin, hoping it would mask my scent.I could hear the sounds of wolves racing towards me blasting my ears. This wasn't what I'd hoped for today. This wasn't it.I ran as fast as I could, heaving and hearing my heart pounding beneath me.It'd been a lovely evening, I'd decided to go out and have a drink all by myself. This was two weeks and two days since that asshole broke up with me.And I just needed peace, clarity. I'd remembered seeing this man with a weird aura walk into the pub. The hairs on the back of my neck stood on its end, and immediately I knew something was wrong. We had eye contact once and I downed my drink, grabbed my bag
