I stood admiring him. He was perfect in every sense. His cold grey eyes that told me things, no one would had ever said. His beautiful smile which made the flowers bloom. His gentleness had made me fall on my knees.I blink my eyes a couple of times in case it was a dream but strangely it wasn't.He was the one who told me I was his mate and I denied him.People say he was 800 years old but his looks didn't justify his age. He was waiting for his mate and I don't think I deserved that precious place.It was too real to believe that I was that person.I never looked into his silver eyes directly but whenever I did, it made me feel safe for some reason then some part of me would show me my real face. Everything is Nice when it's new and so was he.I look at the crowd and bite my lips nervously. They made me feel welcome but it wouldn't last long, said a voice inside of me."I, Alpha Orion Knight in front of my pack and Mighty ancestors take this moment to announce the future Luna of this Pack." He spoke with confidence and certainty."From this moment on the Lily Wintersong is your Luna and my Wife."His voice held authority but there was softness in them too. I heard him address the crowd in front of me but my body and mind were finding it hard to believe. Everything was happening so fast. It passed like a blur.My breathing hitched and suddenly the air around me choked me and my heartbeat raised enormously.It wasn't right. Happiness is not for me.These people loved me but they won't after they find out about my deeds. They wouldn't want a Luna who is cursed."Stopp…." I shouted out in sadness."I can't…I..I reject you as my mate." I said and ran out of the place leaving everyone behind.With every step taking me far from him felt like draggers piercing through my body.YOU DID IT RIGHT!!! A voice consoled me but deep down I knew. I lost the light to my happiness and I am the one to blame.
