Wyatt took a step forward; his figure was tall, and a cold and domineering pressure oozed out of him. His eyes are piercingly cold and fierce. "Enjoyed toying with my feelings, huh?” Despite the coldness oozing out of him, Wyatt's voice was steady and calm—too calm to be real.

He took off his shirt and tossed it somewhere across the room, leaving his upper body bare. Even though it was a delicious feast for my eyesight, the precarious situation I was in made me unable to enjoy it.

My eyesight increasingly turned blurry due to the tears that pooled in my eyes. I bit my lower lip and hurriedly shook my head. "No. Hubby, it's not like that."

Wyatt took another step forward, his jaw clenched and his voice steady. "Maia, I trusted you a lot. You don't want to provoke me because I won't give you space. I can be cruel. Really cruel." He enunciated one after the other.

My heart thrummed against my chest, and the tears I'd been holding in finally slipped past my eyes.
