~Lexa~
I remained still, trying to think everything through. I don’t know what Alpha Zane was playing at but I wanted no part in it. “Are you hurt anywhere?” He spoke lightly, turning to look at me. “No, thanks for asking.” “What? You didn’t want me to come save you?” He asked, definitely picking the mockery and not the fake thanks I gave him. “Like you didn’t put me in such a situation yourself.” I let out a snort. “You’ve made it very clear that you don’t want me to train because what sort of surprise is this?” I didn't hold back and ignored the fact that I was raising my voice at him. I stared into his face, wanting to forget those eyes I was forced to look at a few minutes ago. Those huge hands on me and me stopping myself from saying what I so longed to say to that monster. “Miss Lexa, you don’t talk to our Alpha like that.” Josh cuts in, his voice stern but his eyes still focused on the road. I rolled my eyes, making sure Alpha Zane saw me clearly. His beta never liked the tone I used with him but guess what? That was his business! He clearly didn't like me to be here because it’s been five years and I’m not sure he’s spoken to me up to three times. “Let it be Josh, it’s not like she’s going to change it or anything.” I could hear him laugh in little bits. His frown lightening up, when in all sense I should be the one in a deep frown. “Why did you bring me here? Is there something I need to know?” I asked him, even when in all sense I shouldn’t want to know. What if he really had something to say and that something had to do with my past? “Simply for a date but I guess you hate me too much to be in another man’s hold. I think you are the one that has something to tell me.” He said smoothly, wearing an awkward smile on his face while waiting for an answer that wasn’t coming. Gosh I hate him! “You got the first part right, so please from now on i don’t want to be around any of your friends, he’s weird.” I added very quickly only for him to laugh out loud, giving me funny looks. Something was telling me he knew something but my wolf was saying it wasn’t possible. “What? I know all your friends just have to be weird.” I stated a fact, my eyes lowering to look him straight in the eyes. “So you don’t know Alpha Raemon and you think we are friends?” He asked like I was joking about the friends thingy. “Why? Is he someone I should know?” I raised one of my eyebrows with a displeased frown on my face to look at him. Waiting for an answer while he just sat there, staring into my eyes. Looking at me like he was waiting for me to break away first. He cleared his throat “obviously no and no we are not friends. I’ll even kill anyone that has affiliation with him right on the spot.” He breathed aggressively in a very low frightening tone. His fist twisting together as he looked at me. I nod my head, forcing out a small smile. “Okay noted. So I get to train after this, right?” I asked, pushing whatever disturbing thoughts was in my head after listening to him talk about killing. “One mistake or disturbance and you are out?” He came closer, his face close to mine. I expected this, he just couldn’t be entirely accepting. I mean how else would we understand that we hate each other. “Explain what you mean by mistake?” With my nose scrunched up, I gave him a dead stare. Letting him know I wasn't surprised. “Don’t bring your dramatic self to my training ground and don’t make disturbing scenes with my gamma.” He didn’t look away, his eyes on me as he said it very seriously. I laughed in his face “explain dramatic so I’ll understand more clearly, and it’s not my fault that at least one person in your trio is a bit fun.” I mocked him, looking quickly at Josh in the driver’s seat and then back at him. He smiled very quickly “hmm hmm”. I just wanted to go home and forget everything. “Are you sure you are not hurt anywhere? I really don’t want issues with my mum.” He asked, his eyes looking closely at my neck region. “I’m fine, you don’t need to act like you want to really know. I won’t tell her a thing.” I grinned widely at him, using my hands to demonstrate shoving him away so he could practically move. “Just let me train and I’ll be out of your way. I’ll help you make your hating easier.”~Lexa~ He just had to make it a lot worse by coming here. Yes I know I tend to pass my boundaries and act the complete opposite of how I should act with an alpha like Zane. The strict and pretty annoying alpha’s who are all about their ego. “You don’t think Amy saw anything, right?” I turned to face her, as they both came immediately Alpha Zane excused himself. She looked confused and surprised at the same time. A bewildered look on her face “how does he know my name?” She asked, still shocked. Her hand pointing to herself and back to the only single door in the room. I looked at her looking lost, then at Xavier who just stood there staring at both of us calmly. She gets herself, shakes my whole body with both her hands. “He knew my name Lexa.” I was pretty confused right now. Was she happy or sad about it because one minute she looked lost and the next minute she’s smiling. “He’s the Alpha, is he not supposed to know your name?” Okay I know their pack was pretty large, a
~Zane~ “Having fun Xavier?” The flirty wolf was standing so close to Lexa. What the hell am I saying? He’s about to freaking enter her. “Just training boss.” His head looked up to face me. And quietly bowed down but the flirty wolf still stood right there. His hands were still on her shoulders. “Having fun?” I directed my question at Lexa who wasn’t ever smiling when I was close by. I’ve been counting, been noticing even when I didn’t want to. She forced out a fake smile as usual, her eyes empty as she spoke. “I’m finally training so yeah.” I nod, trying my very best not to look at my gamma still standing.. probably waiting for me to leave so he continues his training. His hand would soon definitely go to her waist. “You can continue your training Christine.” I freed her from whatever neck pain she was trying to get. Her head popped up like she was surprised I knew her name or that I noticed she was standing there. “Than..k yo..u alpha.” She stammered, resuming whate
~Lexa~My hope for a conversation with Xavier was short lived even when it was supposed to be an excuse to avoid Amy. “Let’s get started.” Beta Josh echoed gently round the big hall. I let out a snort, the no fun wolves have gotten here. We got to training immediately, but I and Christine just stood there a little lost. She leaned in closer “have they forgotten it’s our first time training with them?” She asked, whispering into my ears. She’s only here because according to her she can’t just let me come here all alone. We would go with that and not the obvious fact of her wanting to see Josh very often. He was like the shadow of the alpha and went almost everywhere with him. Her only chance of seeing him alone was here since the Alpha never really trained here or with them, just usual checkups and he’s gone. “Seems like. Let’s just observe from the back.” I whispered back to her. We walked slowly, allowing them to move in unison as they practiced some moves. “Where are you
~Lexa~ “Come on Lexa, there should be more. You promised to have fun, remember?” She stood in front of me with her hands on her hips. Stopping me from moving forward. “You forced me to make a promise so that doesn’t count.” I gave her a stern face. Anything at all to get her off my back. But Christine doesn’t move an inch, her face beaming with the thoughts that I had something fun to tell. Just what exactly was I going to tell her? “Alpha Zane is going to be here any minute from now, you know I’m still on the line?” I muttered with a bit of maybe too much emotion. Anything at all to get her off my back. They all respect him, bowing and remaining quiet unless asked to speak. But I got lucky enough to bypass all that since I lost my memory. I also know it’s enough time to start acting along but nah … not with Alpha Zane. He doesn’t deserve my obedience. He just has a way of getting under my nerves. If that wasn’t going to work on her, I have something that definitely would.
~Raemon~ “Don’t tell me to freaking calm down, the stupid fucker called her his wolf!” Furious was an understatement, I was freaking blowing up. I did all I could to hold me and my wolf down. I took a deep breath, trying my very best to hold it all in but fuck it? “He had her all these years and still had the audacity to call her his wolf right in front of me?!” I yelled out in anger, my fist kissing the wall. I couldn’t stop, I hit the wall again and again. “Alpha please stop, your hands!” Dexter called out, his voice hinting he wasn’t in support of this. “Why should I? I thought you searched everywhere for her? How come she was with him all along?” I growled, my fists needing an even harder surface. He calmed down, his voice leveled now. “We did Alpha, are you sure it’s our Luna you saw?” He looked me dead in the eye, asking a question that could get him killed. “Are you saying I can’t recognize my own mate? I freaking held her in my hands Dexter.” I found another spot
