~Lexa~

I remained still, trying to think everything through.

I don’t know what Alpha Zane was playing at but I wanted no part in it.

“Are you hurt anywhere?” He spoke lightly, turning to look at me.

“No, thanks for asking.”

“What? You didn’t want me to come save you?” He asked, definitely picking the mockery and not the fake thanks I gave him.

“Like you didn’t put me in such a situation yourself.” I let out a snort.

“You’ve made it very clear that you don’t want me to train because what sort of surprise is this?” I didn't hold back and ignored the fact that I was raising my voice at him.

I stared into his face, wanting to forget those eyes I was forced to look at a few minutes ago. Those huge hands on me and me stopping myself from saying what I so longed to say to that monster.

“Miss Lexa, you don’t talk to our Alpha like that.” Josh cuts in, his voice stern but his eyes still focused on the road.

I rolled my eyes, making sure Alpha Zane saw me clearly.

His beta never liked the tone I used with him but guess what? That was his business!

He clearly didn't like me to be here because it’s been five years and I’m not sure he’s spoken to me up to three times.

“Let it be Josh, it’s not like she’s going to change it or anything.” I could hear him laugh in little bits.

His frown lightening up, when in all sense I should be the one in a deep frown.

“Why did you bring me here? Is there something I need to know?” I asked him, even when in all sense I shouldn’t want to know.

What if he really had something to say and that something had to do with my past?

“Simply for a date but I guess you hate me too much to be in another man’s hold. I think you are the one that has something to tell me.” He said smoothly, wearing an awkward smile on his face while waiting for an answer that wasn’t coming.

Gosh I hate him!

“You got the first part right, so please from now on i don’t want to be around any of your friends, he’s weird.” I added very quickly only for him to laugh out loud, giving me funny looks.

Something was telling me he knew something but my wolf was saying it wasn’t possible.

“What? I know all your friends just have to be weird.” I stated a fact, my eyes lowering to look him straight in the eyes.

“So you don’t know Alpha Raemon and you think we are friends?” He asked like I was joking about the friends thingy.

“Why? Is he someone I should know?” I raised one of my eyebrows with a displeased frown on my face to look at him.

Waiting for an answer while he just sat there, staring into my eyes. Looking at me like he was waiting for me to break away first.

He cleared his throat “obviously no and no we are not friends. I’ll even kill anyone that has affiliation with him right on the spot.” He breathed aggressively in a very low frightening tone.

His fist twisting together as he looked at me.

I nod my head, forcing out a small smile. “Okay noted. So I get to train after this, right?” I asked, pushing whatever disturbing thoughts was in my head after listening to him talk about killing.

“One mistake or disturbance and you are out?” He came closer, his face close to mine.

I expected this, he just couldn’t be entirely accepting. I mean how else would we understand that we hate each other.

“Explain what you mean by mistake?” With my nose scrunched up, I gave him a dead stare. Letting him know I wasn't surprised.

“Don’t bring your dramatic self to my training ground and don’t make disturbing scenes with my gamma.” He didn’t look away, his eyes on me as he said it very seriously.

I laughed in his face “explain dramatic so I’ll understand more clearly, and it’s not my fault that at least one person in your trio is a bit fun.” I mocked him, looking quickly at Josh in the driver’s seat and then back at him.

He smiled very quickly “hmm hmm”.

I just wanted to go home and forget everything.

“Are you sure you are not hurt anywhere? I really don’t want issues with my mum.” He asked, his eyes looking closely at my neck region.

“I’m fine, you don’t need to act like you want to really know. I won’t tell her a thing.” I grinned widely at him, using my hands to demonstrate shoving him away so he could practically move.

“Just let me train and I’ll be out of your way. I’ll help you make your hating easier.”

~Lexa~ “I’m not imagining things am I?” Her breathing y even, her eyes twitching like she needed to go into emergency. I twirled my eyes lazily. “Y’all heard him right? He knows my name, he pointed me out!” She giggled, trying her very best to contain her excitement as Josh stood not too far from us, conversing with Zane. I didn’t answer her and that didn't mean she was going to stop. “I knew it was all about a matter of time.” She said so excitedly, missing the whole point of why he called her out. Evie nodded, trying to hold back her soft laughter. ““I knew ..” I cut her off before she goes too far with her thoughts. “You do know why he pointed you out right?” I needed to bring it back to her remembrance if she wanted to be smiling for a really long time. “Yea yea, I heard him clearly.” She muttered at once, acting like I was robbing her of her moment. I knew that was a lie. Maybe she did hear him but the words definitely didn't register enough to keep her up on her t

~Lexa~ He sighed deeply like something was wrong. “If you think I’ll go easy on you because you’re a girl, it's best you leave now.” He spoke rather too rudely. He looked at us like he could care less if he was being extra harsh. We were the only girls here so he was outright asking us to leave. I snorted, rolling my eyes as I ignored him. Whispering to them to pay him no attention. Maybe I didn’t need to tell Christine that as I knew she was always blind to this side of Josh. But Evie would sure need it, the look on her face right now was so scary. He so frightened her. He delayed, took his eyes from them as he knew his look wouldn’t move a thing in me. I folded my hands. “That’s exactly why we joined your team.” I smiled at him, knowing he hated it. He took his eyes away, pretty much vexed. Shouldn’t he be glad that we stuck to him?.. We weren’t some horny wolves running after some alpha’s forgetting our real trainer after all this. “Great. I’m not making any excuses no

~Raemon~ My eyes followed her all through quietly. I didn’t want to upset her even more or spoil up her mood again. So I kept my distance and avoided looking too directly when Josh gave his announcement. I knew way ahead that she wasn’t going, maybe that’s why they made it their choice to pick a trainer. My sole aim right now was to get that girl on my team, she definitely had something to do with Alexa’s mood going sour. They started moving and she came forward with her friends first as the rest acted like it was a big decision to make. I took in her scent, glad she was way better now and was frowning her usual way with her hands folded. It was that frown she had on when she knew I was around. I smiled watching her stand in front of Zane and his beta. She was going to pick either of them and I should be mad but I wasn’t, it was well expected. A few minutes earlier I wanted her to be on my team even though I knew it was hardly possible but now I wanted tha

~Lexa~ Training kicked off immediately Josh walked in with Zane. Their faces weren’t smiling either, at least no one would ask me why I wasn’t smiling since it looked so normal on them. Xavier moved to the back of the hall to meet his own trainers. Everyone stood ready to train and then there was me fighting with my thoughts. Christine wasn’t going to notice so I was in the safe. Josh was here, so all her attention should go straight to him. We didn’t start immediately, I tried to distract myself, refusing to look up where I knew he was standing. I didn’t want to see him or meet eyes with him right now. I was still struggling to believe everything Amy said. The fact that her threats were real all along and she really did know my secret. “Attention everyone, let’s listen up.” Josh called out, making everyone put their attention on me. The hushed up little annoying murmuring finally stopped. I didn’t want to point it out all along but I was happy it was over. They kept o

~Raemon~ “We wouldn’t want to stress you or bore you out, so you can sit this one out.” His beta stopped me halfway, using the most useless excuse ever to stop me from coming to today's training. I smiled, containing myself. I wasn’t here for anybody else but Alexa. . The reminder kept me smiling, even though I could see it from a mile away that they just wanted to keep me away. “It’s not so much of a stress, you can hit me up with the details.” I know I surprised him with the way he still tried to keep a straight face. I could already guess this was Zane’s idea. I stood still, ready to hear details of what was supposed to stress me out. He didn’t smile or frown, trying his best to keep his cool and conceal his real thoughts. I smirked, waiting on him as I could see right through him. “We planned on making the class a bit productive and divide them into groups today.” He started off and I nodded. “Without the complete new beginners, we were meant to divide the class into

~Lexa~ I was shocked, lost for words as this couldn’t be. That was a mistake, a stupid coincidence. There’s no way it’s possible. No one knows, she can’t know, she’s not supposed to know! I tried to remain still, ignoring Christine and Evie’s laugh as they talked about things they wanted to do to her for ever trying to be nasty towards me. My hearing dulled, my heart raced, pumped so fast that I didn’t want to look up to check who was coming in or who came in after him. Why did he even come in first? Isn't he just a guest? I tried to keep myself busy, trying so hard to think outside him but it wasn’t possible. Anthrix was confused as I was. “You okay?” His voice caught me off guard. His soothing, calming voice dug through my worried thoughts. And surprisingly it did nothing to calm me down. I blinked rapidly, trying to mask it all. “Yea. Hmm mmm.” He raised an eyebrow at me, seeing right through me. His smiling face went dull at once. “You don’t look it.” He didn’t hid
