It didn't take more than a few seconds before Nicole opened the door. She was excited to see him, glad he came to see her so early in the day, he usually came in the night.
She flung herself at him as soon as he walked in.
"It's a pleasant surprise to see you, Lucas", she said happily.
Lucas was also happy to see her, he held her tightly in his arms. He was glad she wasn't hurt from last night's thunderstorm.
"I came as soon as I could", he said, as slowly let her down on her feet.
"I'm glad you came", she said. It appeared she was getting bored on her own despite having Angela and Charles around.
