Chapter-11

Still in a daze, I let him drag me alongside for a while. Until my senses finally kicked in and with a jerk, I pulled away my hand from his grip.

Still shooting him death glares, I found him turning around to watch me in confusion.

"What?" He questioned with a frown and I barely caught myself from the urge to push him.

"Ex-fiance?" I remarked with a sneer and earned an eye-roll from Hadeed in response.

"So?" His blank and irritated reply felt to me like a scalding burn against my face and I could only gape at him through gritted teeth.

"Let's go. We can talk later." He remarked with clear exasperation and turned his back on me. I watched him take a few steps away from me and when he finally realized that I wasn't following him, he looked back.

"Hoor." He reprimanded strictly through a face seething with annoyance and that's why I turned on my heel away from him.

"Hoor—! Can you for once—!" I heard his demanding voi
