Chapter 21: Destroyed

"How is she doing now doctor?...is she fine?" I asked him in worry, hugging Riya to my chest as she cried her eyes out. The doctor shook his head and sighed. "As a father I would advice you both to report to the police....the poor girl was brutally raped. She was heavily bleeding which could have costed her life. Whoever did this needs to be reported as soon as possible. She is very lucky to survive or else..." he shook his head in sadness and pity. 

Riya placed her hands over her mouth as she cried madly. Tears leaked out of my eyes, my heart crushing in pain. How could they....how could they do this to her?...how could he do that to her after saying he loves her?.
