Ariana’s POV

Saturday came faster than I wanted, dragging its weight straight into my stomach.

I spent the entire morning in a slow, cold motion, showering, dressing, redoing my hair twice, then settling on a simple black dress because Maya had insisted I “match her vibe” without outshining her.

Which translated to: Don’t look better than me.

She wore white, of course. A tight, shimmery, pearl-colored dress that hugged her curves and screamed influencer princess.

Her makeup was flawless. Mine was barely there.

She didn’t say thank you when I helped zip the back of her dress. She didn’t even look at me.

“Try not to slouch today,” she said instead, fixing her lipstick.

“I’m not slouching,” I muttered.

“Just try.”

And then she clicked her heels toward the stairs, calling for Mom to hurry up and take pictures of her “before the chaos starts.”

By the time we got into the hired black SUV, my head was already pounding.

The whole ride, Maya practiced her speech and asked Mom to adjust her h

  • ACCIDENTALLY MARRIED TO MY BILLIONAIRE BOSS   Chapter 92 :The Speech

Alex’s POV I had given hundreds of speeches in my life.In the boardrooms, at press conferences, emergency statements, celebratory launches—I knew how to stand straight, project calmness, and say exactly what needed to be said without revealing anything that could be used against me.None of that prepared me for standing backstage at the gala, fingers curled loosely around a glass of water I hadn’t touched, listening to the low hum of the crowd while my heart beat far too loud in my chest.Across the room, Ariana stood near the balcony doors, laughing softly at something one of the guests said. The light caught in her hair, the blue of her dress deepening as she moved. She looked peaceful. Like she belonged not just here, but anywhere she chose to stand. My chest tightened. This wasn’t a planned announcement or a strategy to get Victoria to back off. This was my life.My mother sat at the front table, elegant and composed, watching the stage with polite interest. My grandfather, bes

  • ACCIDENTALLY MARRIED TO MY BILLIONAIRE BOSS   Chapter 91: The Gala

Ariana’s POV The day of the gala arrived quietly, like it was trying not to sneak up on me.I woke up early, not because I had to, but because my mind refused to stay asleep. Sunlight filtered through the curtains in thin lines, warming the room in patches. I lay there for a while, one hand resting on my stomach, breathing slowly, and reminding myself that today was just a day. A big one, yes—but still just a day.I moved carefully through my morning routine. I showered, dried my hair, and ate toast even though my appetite was faint. Everything was okay. Like my body knew it was carrying something precious and wanted me to slow down.By noon, the apartment had transformed.Garment bags hung neatly on the closet door, and shoes sat by the mirror. The stylist who was Lexi insisted on sending arrived with calm efficiency, humming softly as she worked. She didn’t ask questions or pry. I appreciated that more than she knew.“I am going to make it simple,” she said as she pinned my ha

Ariana’s POV I waited until the apartment was quiet before I called Lexi.Alex had left earlier for a meeting, but the warmth of his presence still lingered—like the echo of something steady finally settling into place. I sat on the edge of the couch, phone in my hands, heart beating faster than it should have for a call I’d been waiting for days to make.Lexi picked up on the second ring. “You’re calling early. That’s suspicious.”I smiled despite myself. “Are you alone?”“Yes. And now you’re definitely scaring me.”I took a breath. “The results came in.”There was a pause. Then, “And?”“He’s the father,” I said. “Alex is the father.”Lexi screamed.I pulled the phone away from my ear, laughing quietly. “Lexi…..”“Oh my God,” she cut in. “Oh my God, Ariana. I knew it. I knew it. I’m sitting down. I need to sit down.”“You’re already sitting,” I said.“I’m sitting harder.”I laughed again, this time with tears pressing at my eyes. “It’s real. The test was definitive and left no room

  • ACCIDENTALLY MARRIED TO MY BILLIONAIRE BOSS   Chapter 89: After The Call

Alex’s POVThe bar hadn’t changed in years, and that was exactly why I kept coming back. The same low lighting and leather booths. Same bartender who knew my drink before I asked. It was the one place where my life didn’t feel like a performance or a negotiation. No board members, press and expectations beyond paying the tab.Ethan was already there when I arrived , seated at our usual corner spot, jacket slung over the back of the booth. He looked up when he saw me, eyebrows lifting slightly.“You’re late,” he said.“I know,” I replied, sliding in across from him. “Long day.”He studied me for a second longer than necessary. “You look… different.”I exhaled and signaled the bartender. “Whiskey. Neat.”Ethan ordered the same, then leaned back. “That doesn’t answer my question.”I didn’t answer right away either. I watched the bartender pour, listened to the muted hum of conversations around us, the clink of glass against wood. This place had heard more of my secrets than anyone els

Ariana’s POV The clinic called just after nine in the morning.I had been sitting at the small table near the window, pretending to drink tea that had already turned cold. Alex was standing a few feet away, scrolling through something on his phone, calm in a way that made my nerves worse. When the phone rang, neither of us moved right away.Alex picked it up on the second ring. “Yes,” he said. “This is Alex.”I watched his face closely. I had learned how to read him a little—a tight jaw meant anger, narrowed eyes meant calculation, relaxed shoulders meant control. This time, his expression stayed unreadable for several seconds. I pressed my hand against my stomach without realizing I was doing it.“Yes,” he said again, then he paused. I stopped breathing. “Are you sure?” he asked quietly. My heart slammed so hard I thought it might give me away even through the phone.“Yes,” he repeated, slower now. “Thank you.”He ended the call and didn’t speak immediately. He just stood there, p

  • ACCIDENTALLY MARRIED TO MY BILLIONAIRE BOSS   Chapter 87: The Trip

Ariana’s POV The flight to Tokyo felt unreal from the moment we boarded.I sat by the window, my forehead pressed lightly to the glass as the plane moved down the runway. The engines roared, the ground blurred out, and then suddenly we were lifting—rising above the city, the noise and everything that had been pressing down on my chest for months.I didn’t cry. I thought I might, but instead, I felt something loosen inside me. Like a knot finally giving way.Alex sat beside me, calm and composed as always, his arm resting on the armrest between us, it was not touching, but close enough that I felt his presence. He had insisted on using his private jet, brushed off my protests, and handled every detail with the kind of authority that made it clear this trip wasn’t just about crossing hours to the other side of the world. It was about safety and protecting me in the only way he knew how.“You okay?” he asked as the seatbelt sign dinged off.I nodded. “Just…taking it in.”He studied m
