Rylan POV

Walking to the other right side window of my, I held the slate and tilted the Venetian blind. I mindlinked one of the wolves watching the border to let Rayana leave.

I watched as she stepped across the border and as if sensing I was watching her, she spun, making me quickly let go of the slate so she couldn't catch me watching.

I walked back to my seat and sat down.

"You attempted to kill her," Xander said and I flick a stare at him.

"I didn't."

"You would have if I hadn't stopped you through the mindlink."

"She pissed me off."

"She simply came to talk to you."

"And she wrongly thought that I was still the same Rylan of seven months back who would bend to her wishes when she whined. I have totally forgotten about the good times I shared with her and Hayden."

"Don't let your anger consume you."

"That's why I never wanted to talk to her."

"Anyways she's gone."

"Why did you attempt to stop me when I attacked her?" I asked curiously.

"Well, I pity her."
