Rayana POV

I ponderously opened my eyes. I was lying on a bed. I clearly remembered how I had shifted back to my human form after a paw had a contact with my wolf's face then as I was about to strike another wolf ripped my neck, forcing me to shift, clutching neck as I blacked out. I had felt Rylan was watching me and I guess he probably was the one who saved me from being finished by them.

Sitting upright with my elbows, I winced, bringing up my hand to my wounded neck which was already dressed.

I looked around the room and sighed. This isn't Rylan's room. Though it's been a year since I last came here, I can still identify Rylan's room. The door opened and someone walked in.

He looked a bit less muscular like Skye. His amazing blue eyes were glowing as he walked up to me and sat next to the bed.

"You're awake?" He asked, making me hiss.

"Are you really blind?"

"Huh?"

"Isn't it obvious I am awake. Or could I be sleepwalking in the daytime?"
