Tomek chuckled while he stirred his hot coffee, his gaze centered on the woman to his left.
Behind her sat a group of rowdy 20-something guys who were enthused by their phones and watching a basketball match while enjoying coffee, pancakes, and cigarettes.
"You want another table? They're all smoking." Tomek shook his head faintly, worried she might get nauseous again from the smell. Plus, she was two months pregnant.
The drab look on her pale face after glancing at the group of hot-blooded males just tickled his funny bone. "Please." Veronica sighed as they got up from their chairs.
