The phone rang unstoppable in my pocket and l was relectuant to answer it.lt was as if l owe  the caller dollors. It was very annoying. Yesterday was a hectic day for me. l felt the need to go home and sleep for good hours.

A message popped up instead after l didn't answer.Boss l have sent the investigation results to your email now.lt was a message from my secret private detective.l really trust him alot with jobs that l need reliable information.

And this time it was about my wife.Yes l have been observing her thes past months .She seemed stressed and very secretive.She barely comes home and even if she is around,she hide in the bedroom and rarely comes out.She has completely distanced hersepf from me.l was sure something is eating her up but l couldn't get to the bottom of it since we are like enemies sleeping in one roof at times.

I tried to open my email box but then l posed .My heart suddenly thudded in my chest.l got a feeling that l may not want the details in there. I closed my phone screen and put the phone back on the table in my office.l then got out to go home.

My driver Willy was already as usual.He has worked for me for almost twenty years.He opened the car and l got in.I just don't know why l was scared to the extent that my hands were trembling every time my phone buzzed with a message or any incoming call.l didn't even notice when we arrived at my home.lf Willy didn't inform me that we have arrived, l wouldn't have it in mind. .

I nodded at him and l got out of the car . Fortunately for me, my twins are alway there to welcome me whenever l go back home.

So nosooner hard l entered the living room than my precious daughter Edina came running and gave me a hug with the smile pestured on her face.

My mood even relaxed a bit.Dad you are back you look exhausted today .She said while leaving my chest.Am little bit tired  but there is no need to worry dear.Where is my boy? I asked.

Am here dad we'll be back.Eric' voice sounded above the stair and soon his face showed up in my line of view hardly had l finished inquiring about him.

Eric moved nearer to where l was standing with Edina besides me and he also engulfed me in a tight hug.These are my twin kids.l love them alot.Edina has grown to be a beautiful and caring lady .Eric is also the same .Handsome,caring and kind.

They became to be my source of joy as they grew up.We even became friends.We are very close the three us.Since there mother is always travelling to deal with her chain of hotels and restraunts,l preferred running my business here nearby inorder to be there for them whenever they needed a parent.

My twins completed their studies two months back and l want to train Eric of how l handle my business since he is my heir but l gave him six months for him to prepare before we start the job.And as for the princess,l will let her choose what she prefers to do.

I went upstairs into our room and freshen up.By the time l came back down stairs dinner was already on the dinning table.

Dad let's eat before it gets cold.Edina spoke to me.l smiled and nodded at her.Then the three of us sat down and began to eat.My wife ,the mother of my twins still wasn't around during dinner time.She just came back like half an hour after we were done eating.

As usually she greeted us and went in our room to freshen up but never came back.When it was time for sleeping,my twins bide and kissed me their goodnight wishes and left to their respective rooms.

I was left alone in the living room.After  watching CNN financial late night news,l went to my study.l got my phone and with one brave move l opened the content in the message.

The first content was a family picture of three people.A woman ,a child and a man happily looking at each other.My hands tightened at the phone l was holding as goosebumps filled my stomach.Fear bombered me as if l saw a gun. 

The woman in the photo was none other than my wife.For the child and a man l didn't know.But the next photo that l flipped broke my heart billion times. My wife whom l spent twenty four years with was kissing another man.The same one in the photo.

As if the kissing wasn't enough ,my wife and that man even have a home together and the child who is almost ten years of old was there child.When did she gave birth to a child that old and l never knew.Was it during the time she said that she was building a new hotel abroad that she needed to be there all the time inorder not to mess up things.

Or was it when l was framed and spent a year in prison.Because all of that happened many years ago .oh my God.What have l done to her to deserve all of these! 

For as far as l know,the only thing l have done is to love her and our entire family.

My body was shaking and l even felt dizzy but then l wanted to get through all of the information sent to me.

Another heart wrenching thing that sent me into a fainting mode was the last email l opened.lt consists of the DNA tests results of myself and the twins.This was too much for my grown up heart to cater for.

The twins that l loved with all my heart,the ones that have been my first priority,the ones that have grown to be my best friends and made me proud when they called dad with a smile turned out that they weren't my own fresh and blood.
