❤️ Jennifer' POV❤️
"Who is Eric Gray?"I ask them to get confused about whom they are talking about and why they all are scared of him. They all look at me with a shock like I've asked which I shouldn't...
"Yaa.... you really don't know who is he or are you just pretending that you don't?" the guy with blonde hair asks me with a cocky smile.
"She's not pretending, she really doesn't know him because she's always busy with her studies so she's doesn't have time to know about him... Anyway, there's nothing special about him to be known about, okay....". Edward pushes him back to make some space between me and Blake.
"What the shit are you talking Eddie, that there's nothing special about him.....dude he's the star baseball player of our school, have you forgotten??" Blake asks him in amusement but Edward rolls his eyes and gives him a smirk, "Yeah... like as if I care."
Blake shakes his head at his behavior and turn to look at me," Jennifer, Eric Gray is the best baseball player in our school and you have to interview him if you want to join our club...." he stops and looks at Edward, " And about him, These two do not get along, so they don't like each other."
"Ahh... I see, so what I have to do, and where can I find him?" I ask Blake and him handover me a notebook that includes some questions which I need to ask Eric. "Here is the questionnaire and you can find him on the school playground, probably he's doing practice, now go but be careful, he's short-tempered okay." I nod and smile and walk towards the playground to find Eric.
I try to find him in the playground, and I find someone who's similar to his personality as Blake told me. I stare at him well he is probably the most perfectly proportioned because of his tall frame and his long legs. He’s got that athletic body for sure. Slim, healthy, not too muscular.
He's wearing the baseball team uniform, which is tightly fit on his body, showing his strong legs, he's wearing a blue color cap which is hiding his eyes. On his one hand, he's wearing a baseball glove and on other hand, he's holding the ball...
He looks so concrete, he swings one of his long legs in the air as he's getting ready to throw the ball.
The girls are cheering for him holding his name's banner in their hands," ERIC, ERIC, ERIC... LET'S GO YOU CAN DO IT..." As he throws his first ball but misses it.
The only tall guy who's standing in front of him at some distance, takes out his helmet and asks him getting irritated, "Eric do you need some rest, what's wrong with your pitch today?"
"No, I'm fine, let's do it again." Eric says and walks back to his spot to throw the ball again before he throws it he stops and yells, "Hey you!! Get out!!" I look here and there to see whom he's yelling at but again he yells, " Are you dumb? Get out of here."
Before I could understand the one who's catching his ball come up to me almost running and fuming in anger," Hey you! He's talking about you, get out here, what are you doing in front of him?" My eyes go wide in shock knowing I'm in front of him blocking his way and I don't even when I come here, what I remember is I was looking at him continuously and I end up here. I feel embarrassing, I hurriedly bow down to say sorry and walk out the ground to sit on a chair to wait for him.

❤️ Jennifer POV❤️
"I hurriedly bow down to apologize and walk out the ground to shit on a chair to wait for him....."✨
I start reading the questions which I need to ask him, after a few minutes I sense someone's presence beside me, I turn my face to the side to see who is it and I see a tall man sitting beside me. It was from Eric. He is looking tired, he's massaging his right shoulder which might be aching with his other hand and his eyes are closed.
"Umm.... excuse me, do you have any time?" I ask him expectedly, not sure if I should ask him or not because earlier Blake told me that he's short-tempered so I'm a little bit scared of him.
"Hope. I don't have any." He answered still closing his eyes and resting his head on the backside of the chair. I can tell he's tired but I still go on to try my luck to make him agree to do an interview," I'm in the same class, and I really want to join the broadcasting club so they assigned me to do an interview with you, do you....do you want to do an interview?" I ask him with so many expectations.
"Same class?" he finally opens his eyes and looks at me," umm... yeah, probably you don't know me, actually I didn't know till now either that we're from the same class," I answered him honestly and it's true that I didn't know he's my classmate 'cause I've never seen him in the class before.
"Yeah. I don't get time to attend classes because of my tight schedules and we need to go to the tournaments," he replied and I'm a little bit relive that he's not like that as Blake and others think of him, he's easy going. well at least now. "Ohkay so can I ask questions," I hurriedly try to ask him questions, I don't want to lose this chance. " The first question is......." I stop myself looking at his tired state and he's hissing with pain sometimes while holding his shoulder," You must have been really tired, right?" I ask him with concern,"
"Is that the first question?" he looks at me and asks back and chuckles lightly.
"This won't do, sorry for interrupting you." I close the notebook of the questionary and turn back to leave and to let him rest.
"Hey. Come here" I hear his voice from behind and I stop my step, I turn around to look at him.
"I want to do this interview." he stands up from his chair and comes towards me.
"Really?" I smile in excitement and walk towards him actually almost running. I open my notebook to ask him questions and to write down his answers.
"Hey it's dangerous!" someone yells and I look in the direction of the voice and see that a baseball is in the air and it's coming towards me, I hurriedly closed my eyes in fear and cover my face with the notebook to not get hit.
But before the ball could hit me, Eric caught it with his right hand right in front of my face!!!!;
I look at his face in shock and noticed his expression changing into the painful one and he growls out in pain, my eyes become wide and I cover my mouth with my hand in fright. How can he just catch that ball with his bare hand without wearing a glove?
"Hey, are you okay!!" his team members rushes towards him in panic, "Hey hurry up!" they help him to take him to the team's locker room. I'm still surprised by what just happened and I follow them to their locker room and I hear the announcement of the radio station," FLS's breaking news! Star pitcher, Eric, suffered an injury on his right hand. The cause of this was because of a student that was roaming on the field, this is Jennifer Hudson." My feet freeze on the spot hearing the news, now everyone in the school will bully me and again I'll be the center of everyone's attention.
It was time to go home. Edward couldn’t decide if he was more excited or more anxious about it. Everything had been going so well between him and Vanessa, but that was on vacation. Now it was time to go back to the real world. It didn’t help that everything felt like a rush. A rush to get the rental back into order. A rush to pack everything. A rush to get to the airport on time. ~ WEEKS LATER ~~ Edward was on his computer in his home office when Vanessa came in to check on him. “Work?” Vanessa asked curiously, her hair was still wet from the shower she’d just taken.
Had Vanessa ever been more surprised than the moment when Edward told Nick they were a couple? If so, she couldn’t recall. She was still in dismay even after they came back to the villa. If you’d asked her what she would have expected Edward to say it would be a dismissive answer or not to reply at all.For Edward to so casually say that they were together kind of blew her mind. She was torn between wanting to ask Edward a million questions, play it cool, and tear off his clothes on the spot. But of course, they were surrounded by friends so she mostly just had an internal battle withherself.Sure enough, as the storm picked up outside the house suddenly went dark. Al
Edward was trying to distract his attention from the temptation of Vanessa but no matter how hard he tried it wasn’t working. He was shuffling in his seat, trying to talk with others to keep him distracted. He was talking with Jacob when they were distracted by the notification sound of Jacob’s phone. They both looked at his phone and they frowned upon it. It was the message from the secretary of Edward’s mother.“What’s it about?” Edward asked with a scowl.Jacob tapped on the screen of his phone and he was amazed by the content.“It worked, Edward.” He said with excitement, his voice was a little too h
Someone was being loud in the house. That wasn’t surprising. But what was surprising was that Edward quickly realized he wasn’t alone in his bed.Without opening his eyes Edward could feel the comforting weight of Vanessa’s body half flung over his. A leg was tangled in between his, an arm wrapped around him, and a face pressed against his neck.As he blinked and took stock of his bedroom he realized they must have fallen asleep watching television because it was actually still on.He remembered the butterflies in his stomach when Vanessa had curled up closer to him the night before, but the cuddling must have just happened when they fell asleep.Really he was helpless to bring his fingers up through Vanessa’s hair, enjoying the sleepy groan that
It was a weird phenom to always want to shower after going to the beach. Between the sand, sunscreen, and sweat it was impossible not to feel gross after a day by the water.Since they were in a house full of people Vanessa was mindful only to take a quick shower so they didn’t run out of hot water. She did take the time to blow dry her hair out though.Eric had made it clear that they were on their own for the night since he was dragging Emma out into town for a quiet dinner together.Vanessa didn't blame him but she also had no idea what the others were thinking about doing. After throwing on new clothes, she went downstairs to find that Jacob was already in the living room.“Everyone else still showering?&rdquo
It’s been 2 months since Edward and Vanessa had separated their ways for good. It’s been 2 months since they last talked. It’s been 2 months since Edward asked Vanessa to wait for him. It’s been 2 months since they’ve both been holding up their hearts for each other but they’ve been apart. It’s already been 2 months and lots of things have changed around them.In these two months, Edward was trying to get a single chance to catch his uncle red-handed to throw him out of his company and behind the bars.He had gathered enough proof against his uncle for all his wrongdoing. He had planned to get his uncle’s most loyal people on his side and he was getting so close to the truth. All he needed to do was
~ EDWARD~I felt awful the next day. I knew that I’d messed up as soon as Vanessa had left her work without so much as coming to say goodbye first. Then going to talk to her later had just made me realize how bothered Vanessa had been lately.I knew that we’d been off, but it seemed like things were just getting worse. My first instinct was usually to bury myself in work, but instead of going into the office, I decided to stay home that day.As soon as I worked up the nerve I texted Vanessa to see when we could talk and then waited. The longer that Vanessa took to get back to me the more nervous I got.I couldn’t even really focus on getting any work done because I kept checking my phone. When I got texts fr
It was a weird feeling being both absolutely head over heels for someone and watching what they were doing with such disappointment and sorrow.Vanessa had never been happier with anyone before which only made it harder to suddenly feel like it was slipping away from her. As much as Edward liked to take care of her when he was around, that didn’t stop him from falling back into his habit of letting work overrun his life.Vanessa understood it, she really did. Just like she loved working in that cafe and could lose herself in it, so did Edward with his company’s work.Unlike Edward though, Vanessa didn’t let her passion get in the way of the other aspects of her life.It was a little different because it was also Edward’s career on the line, but wh
In some ways being with Vanessa was the easiest thing in the world, but in some ways, it was the hardest thing for Edward. It wasn’t always easy to shut off the part of his brain that just wanted to keep working on his company’s issue day long. He loved it. But he also loved being around Vanessa. The part that was the most difficult was how easy it was for him to stay at work long hours on days when he knew he wouldn’t be seeing Vanessa. When Vanessa had worked all that Edward would do was stay at work. His schedule only changed when he needed it to.Logically he knew that he hadn’t really changed his ways that much at all. He was still putting in long hours, just adjusting them around Vanessa’s schedule.
