(Ethan’s POV)
Izobel pulled her finger from my mouth angrily. The corners of my mouth turned up, but I could not help worrying about Asia and Ryzen. Should I ask Amber to erase their memory? I felt the relief when Asia blushed and pressed her lips to suppress a smile.
“Hot!” We heard Ryzen mutter. “I think I’ll cut myself on purpose,” he cracked the joke making Asia laugh this time and giving him the paper cutter.
“Your point?” Amber asked, rolling her eyes at me and sitting down on the vacant chair in front of Izobel’s table.
I shrugged and shook my head because I didn’t have any. “I just got curious, Amber,” I answered.
“Curiosity killed the cat, Ethan,” Izobel hissed, standing up.
“Where are you going?” I asked, almost forgetting that I have a concern about work.
