In thirty days.
In thirty days.
Author: bekky6

Chapter one.

Constant head splitting headaches, random joint pains, dizziness and lightheadedness. it was symptoms I know just too well. The blue rose illness. The vile disease that robbed me of my mother.

And now I think it's coming for my life too.

My name is Ivy and I have the blue rose illness.

Funny right? I can't believe I have less than thirty days to live.

But it's true. I am dying. The pain is getting worst everyday and there is no denying it any longer.

My days are numbered and there is nothing I can do about it. After all, the blue rose sickness has no cure.

It is a death sentence.

I am going to die. I don't really like my life that much but that doesn't means I would love to die. I am still so young, I am barely eighteen in less than a week!!

I DONT WANT TO DIE.

It is a desperate prayer. Still I know better than to believe that a wandering God might just hear my wish and make it come true.

So here I am, wide awake in my room (the basement) at 2 o'clock, trying to find the best way to live the rest, short while, of my life.

It sure sounds easy doesn't it?

Unfortunately my life just isn't the best.

I am the first child, and the only child of my father and his true mate. Lovely right? No.

My mother died when I was four, my father remarried. A typical romance story, but....

Out of all the women in the world he just had to pick the one that looked like Cinderella's step mother.

Fortunately Mrs step mom only has one son, and Rowan is a very nice and cute child. I like him a lot.

His cheeks are so plumpy and pink, makes you want to touch them.

If only Mr's step mom lets me spend more time with him. *sighs.*

So as I was saying....

Now to sum it all up. I am cinderella, if not worse. And my life is miserable.

As you see, I live in a basement. No windows, dark walls, and an eerie silence.

The air is thick and it's hard to see even in daytime, and right now, I can't even see my fingers.

Now, number one of my blue rose bucket list.

1. TRASH THE ENTIRE FAMILY (with the exception of my cutie Rowan.)

2. DUMP THIER ASS AND RUN AWAY.

3. FIND A NICE TO PLACE SETTLE DOWN.

4. GET A JOB AND LIVE COMFORTABLY.

5.MAKE A BEAUTIFUL GARDEN.

6.GET A CUTE PET.

7.FIND A CUTE BOYFRIEND. (To get down dirty with.) Okay maybe I should cancel that.

8. SAY ONE LAST GOOD BYE TO ROWAN. Definitely must do. And lastly.

9. PREPARE FOR MY BURIAL.

"Now that it is all done." I massage the aching muscles, from my shoulder down to the tip of my fingers. A pained groan slip past my lips when I press hard on those core spots, hoping it would dispell the pain.

"Ahh....let's go to bed." I sighed, blindly searching for my old cover. Muttering under my breath. "I feel like tomorrow is going to be troublesome."

"Wake up you." A nagging voice came from the door, followed by a furry of knocks.

'jeez.' Rubbing on my sleepy eyes, I throw the covers off and was met with a familiar darkness.

"Get up and get ready." Sensing the movement behind the door, the maid shouts loudly.

"I heard you." I yell back in irritation.

I feel around for my top, then put it on. Preparing to go to the staff quarters to take a bath.

The maids don't normally enter my room. Not because of the respect that should be shown to the alpha's daughter. Which I am. But because the room is just to stuffy and uncomfortable.

Well once you live in it for a long time, you will start getting used to it.

Pushing the door open, i immediately come face to face with the heated glare of Ana.

The lowest maid who deals with the household errands.

"Well hurry up. Do you want to keep the Alpha waiting?" She scowls.

Tell me, why should I, a dignified daughter suffer such insults from merely servants?

Hah— because the Alpha wouldn't care. No body will.

Fortunately, I am going to die soon. I should at least have some happy moments. Right?

"Huh.....I should have slept for a bit more." I sigh in regret.

"What nonsense are you saying?" Ana's face scrunch up in annoyance, as she curse. "Didn't you hear what I said or have you gone deaf or something?"

On normal days when I get scolded, I'd cower away, or maybe apologies immediately, because that's just who I am. And even now I can even feel my hands trembling, and my heartbeat pick up, threatening to jump out of my mouth.

However, when you think about it, the worst she could do is tattle out to the head servant who would then increase the chores I have to do. Or maybe withhold my meals for the next three days.

So—"Whether I am deaf or not, I don't see how it's any of your business."

Ana stood blank. Probably in shock that I talked back at her.

Lord!! This feels good.

"Why have you suddenly turned dumb?" I ask innocently. "Are you alright?"

Bitch?

"You—what did you just say?" Ana stutter both in anger and disbelief.

Look at her pointing a finger to my face.

"Should I just bite it off." I thought.

"Surely, you haven't gone mad, have you?" Ana unconsciously moved some feet's away.

Oh.....did I said that out loud. Hah....

Just look how scared she is.

"Forget about it." I shake my hair, proceeding down the hall to take a well needed wash. "You shouldn't bother yourself with trival things like this ivy."

Hah....today might be a good day after all.

Note: Mention of suicide, there's going to be some tragedy moment and blah...blah...blah....welcome.;-)
