I blinked a few times as I heard whispering voices. The orange light streaming in from the windows told me it was morning. I yawned as I sat up, my body echoing with pains and aches. Xander was leaning against the far wall by the door that goes out on the balcony. Another man was standing there, speaking with him. He looked vaguely familiar as I stared at him. With black shaggy hair, sharp green eyes, and a straight jawline, the resemblance to Xander was there. Was this another brother?

"...Elder's asked for an audience. I can't tell them no." The man said, clearly over this already, "I can smell your... bond already. They can't deny this. If they do, it leaves them open for others to contest their positions. No one wants that."

Xander groans, pinching the bridge of his nose, "Rosa is gone. I'm unsure of how they are getting their information, but they are getting it."

"You have to understand that it doesn't matter how, they will get their info."

Xander scoffed, "Rosa was
