Chap 31: Rescue Mission - Part1

"What the heck is going on with you? Why didn't you tell me earlier if something was bothering you?" Axel, Adele's brother, burst out as soon as Adele asked his help to rescue someone. Before Adele could say anything, Axel continued, " And why are you asking for my help? Did your mates refuse to help you? Is there any problem?"

Adele's voice got stuck in her throat. She needed her brother's help, but she didn't want to tell him about her relationship with her mates. In her haste to call her brother, she didn't even think what she would say to him. After thinking for a few seconds, she said, " I will explain it to you when we meet. Can you meet me now near the intersection outside our pack?"

Axel knew his sister wouldn't ask for help unless it was really important, so he agreed.

" Don't forget to get a few warriors with you," Adele reminded him, to which Axel agreed and cut the call.
