“You are late.”
“Yeah, did I make you wait for long?”
Lanlan shook her head.
“Nope. I also got here a few moments ago.”
Sandhya noticed that lanlan was less energetic than usual.
“What happened? You look drained.”
Lanlan sighed, “Yeah, so much for coming first in the entrance exam. Everyone’s eyes were kind of glued on to me. They were waiting like vultures for me to make a mistake so that they could tear me up. But thanks to Lola’s tuition it saved me a lot.”
After a momentary silence, she asked, “What about you? You also look worn out.”
Sandhya looked at the sky, there was some time before evening.
“Nothing much. It seems like we faced the same storm but our places were different?”
Lanlan laughed, “I see.”

Miss Selly entered to take class. She glanced towards Kane’s desk to see if Sandhya is still sitting there. She walked towards her desk. Ren had a weird expression on her face when Sandhya showed her the medicine she was holding, “The wound looked deep so went to bring medicine. While returning I came across this stall who was selling these so I bought them.” Ren looked at Sandhya’s calm face as if it’s her daily job buying medicine and sweet potatoes.
