Chapter Twenty-Nine

Naiinis na talaga ako. Paano ko ba makukuha ang simpatya ng kapatid ko? Tila napako na siya sa babaeng 'yon. Nagtungo ako sa pool area upang mag-relax at pakalmahin ang aking sarili.

Maya-maya naman ay dumating si Mommy na abot-tenga ang ngiti.

"Where have you been?" I asked her.

"Galing ako sa restaurant, and guess what?" tugon niya.

I was so confused because my mom brought someone in our mansion. And she's not a vampire like us, but human. She's tall, her hair is long and black. She's wearing an eyeglasses.

I thought that she would be like the people at school, and she would say something stupid to try and piss me off. But she didn't do that at all, and instead she looked around nervously.

She seemed really nervous about going in our house. I don't know why. I didn't know who she was. My mom told me she's my new maid.
