Chapter 7

It took two days before Micah finally woke up. I never once left his side while he slept through the days.

Today was the third day and the King was holding a meeting with the council members and other ranking members.

Micah had asked me earlier this morning to accompany him to the days meeting and I agreed.

We both walked into the big ass counsel room and everyone kept silent as the king strolled him. If one is to look closely, you would notice the limp when he walks.

He sat on his chair and I was confused, where would I sit? There was no chair next to him and all thr other chairs has been occupied.

Micah also noticed that there were no empty seats so he pulled me by my waist and I landed on his lap.

I gasped in surprise and other cleared their throat pretending to not have noticed what just happened. I tried getting up but Micah wasn't having it. He's wounded and I do not need to add to his pain.
