I inwardly groaned at the sound of my beeping alarm clock, Making a mental note to change the alarm sound. It was that high pitched Beep! Beep! Beeeep! You know the one? Well yeah, it was so annoying that I regret even setting the alarm last night. I wanted nothing more than to stay in bed, roll over on my pillow and skip school for the day. Maybe I should? I mean it would be just one day and one day couldn’t hurt, could it?

I was exhausted, physically and mentally. Last night was a rough one for me, I didn't sleep much at-all with the nightmares I had been having lately and today? Well today I have to get up and go to school no matter how good the dream of skipping the day sounds. Yeah, it sucks but at least it's my last year and considering I'm a senior, this year shouldn't be too bad for me. with a heavy sigh I kicked my quilt cover off, lazily climbing out of my bed and swiftly crossing my room to the bathroom. 

Just the thought of leaving my cosy room was soul crushing, I loved my bedroom it wasn't small nor was it large. It was simple but warm, consisting of a walk-in wardrobe and an ensuite bathroom and the basic bedroom furniture I'm sure everyone else has but it was a space only for me. my space, my sanctuary. 

I turned the shower on letting the water heat up as I stripped from my pyjamas and tied my hair up out of my face before hoping under the hot shower. The water coated my skin relaxing my entire body in an only a few seconds. I should totally skip the day and sit in the shower because the relaxation I was feeling right now was off the charts but we all know I’m too chicken to skip so I finished my normal routine pretty quickly, washing my body, shaving my legs, you know the normal things you would do in a shower.

I quickly climbed out of the shower , wrapping a towel around my body before proceeding to brush my teeth and put a little bit of light make up on, I was thankfully graced with skin that had a natural glow to it so I had no need for foundation but a little bit of mascara, a red lip tint and I was ready to get dressed. Now I'm not one for spending a lot of time getting myself ready, I get bored pretty quickly when it comes to making decisions. So, pulling out the first outfit my eyes landed on was my go too, A grey vest top, light blue jeans and a pair of white trainers. My top didn't completely cover my stomach, but I couldn't really pay no mind to it, everyone else in school wears much more revealing clothes than I did so why the hell not. I made my bed and opened my curtains, letting the sunlight brighten up my room. Pulling my hair out of its bun I let the natural curls of my long dark brown hair fall over my shoulders in curly waves. Yeah, no work needed, definitely graced with my mother’s hair.

Being that I woke up late I quickly grabbed my handbag, my phone and a jacket before I made my leave for the kitchen.

Drifting my eyes around the room, surprise, surprise my dad was nowhere to be seen. 

If I'm honest I couldn't really care where she is or what she is doing.

My eyes drifted to the clock upon the kitchen wall, if I didn't leave for school now, I'd be late for class, so I quickly grabbed a cereal bar from the cupboard and a can of coke from the fridge before heading to the front door. I don't really do breakfast not that I don't have an appetite, I’m just simply too lazy. 

I locked the front door on my way out dropping my keys in to my handbag with a heavy sigh. It wasn’t too late to back out and get back in my pyjamas, was it?

"Need a ride?" a familiar voice asked. Of course, my morning dose of the boy next door. 

Stefan was the typical bad boy at our school, the kind of guy that no boys messed with, and all girls drooled over. I'm not going to lie he is very handsome, like extremely out of this world handsome with his green eyes, Brown hair, a Chi-sled jaw and that famous black leather jacket that all bad boys wear, Stefan was for sure hot as hell. As was his half-brother Seth, long story short they both have the same farther but with different mothers. Stefan lives with his mother next door whilst Seth lives with only his farther a few blocks away. 

Seth was actually my boyfriend of seven months. He also has that extremely very handsomely gorgeous bad boy vibe with black hair, Brown eyes and a Defined Jaw. They were straight out of every teenage girl’s dream. The brothers had similar looks for sure, If I'm being totally upfront with myself, I won't deny that I am very attracted to both of them. I mean who could blame me? If you could see them, you wouldn't judge me. I wouldn't dare admit my thoughts out loud though, could you imagine how that would sound?

"How about it? princess" Stefan asked, taking all my attention back to him.

"Seth should be here any minute to pick me up" I declined his offer. "And anyway, don't you have a girlfriend to pick up?" I asked with a wave of my wrist in dismissal, of the boy. 

"Ah technically not my girlfriend princess, she can walk if it means you ride with me" He replied with a teasing wink and that all so famous smirk upon his lips. 

I shook my head in amusement at the boy and his antics. As you can see Stefan would flirt with anything that had a pulse, His flirtatiousness doesn't bother me though as I have come to know the boy next door pretty well.

Just on cue Seth pulled up "see you around neighbour” I bid him goodbye as I made my way to Seth. Stefan trailed behind seemingly making his way to his brother just like I was.

"Hey babe" Seth greeted from his much-loved Maserati sports convertible. "Brother" he sent a swift nod of his head in Stefan’s direction. 

Stefan opened the car door for me, and I thanked him before proceeding in taking my seat in the passenger side. "Morning" I greeted Seth with a smile as he leaned in for a kiss and I willingly pecked his lips lightly, as he encased my cheeks between the palms of his hands, an attempt to deepen our kiss but I pulled away not allowing our kiss to be anything more than that since we did have company. 

Seth frowned "Is that all I get?" He sulked and I couldn’t help the laugh to pass my lips as I turned to face Stefan with my easily embarrassed red cheeks. 

"Sorry bro, but I need a ride" he asked, gently closing my door for me. Now I was the one to frown didn't Stefan just offer to give me a ride? Did I imagine that? Either my lack of sleep was taking its toll on me, or he was outright playing with me.

"sure" Seth agreed nodding his head in the direction of the back seat and Stefan wasted no time in climbing in. “Don’t scratch the car” Seth scolded but Stefan paid no mind successfully planting himself onto the backseat.

We set off for school and it was kind of awkward, I don’t know how to explain it. I barely spent time with the two of them together. I only really ever talked to Stefan when I was at home, sometimes in math class and a few times we hung out with friends of a friend. It was never, me, Seth and Stefan.

I was thankful that the boys fell into an easy conversation about some party they wanted to attend on the weekend, I don’t know the details because I kind of zoned out the entire ride to school. When Seth has company, I usually leave him too it, minding my business and today I didn’t mind that because all I wanted to do right now is go back home, climb in my bed and fall right asleep. Since school was only roughly a ten-minute drive from my house
