Chapter Seventeen

I wake up, to realize that I am no longer in my childhood home. My head felt extremely dizzy, as I tried to rise to my feet, only to collapse a moment later. I glanced down to find that both of my hands and my feet were chained to a bloody cement wall. I felt the tears sting my eyes, trying to figure out what had happened.

“Hello?” I shouted but was met with silence.

“Hello?!” I shouted louder, but no one answered.

I looked around again, trying to find anything I could recognize but it was so dark. The only light that came into the room was from the door window, which was tiny and offered nothing more then a mere sliver of light. The man from before passed by the door, as his face lingered in the small window, watching me with his deep red eyes. He stared at me for a couple of moments before a wicked grin spread across his face. He opened the door, revealing a small bit of light in the dark room.
