Josephine sat alone in the living room and she would look at the door from time to time, hoping that Lucas would return back but it has been over thirty minutes now and she let out a sigh. Trisha left a while ago because she needs to be mentally prepared for school the next day and it would only be a bad idea if she decides to stay with someone who is brooding.

She sat there, staring at nothing in particular but just gazing around. She has never felt more lonely except the time she started to believe her mother was never coming back and that hit her differently. But the feeling she was having now was something she cannot quite explain.

Lucas actions have been right all along, but if only he had just told her, maybe, all these would not have happened. It hurts her to see him in pains and she felt bad that she has been ignorant all along. All these while, she has only centered on herself alone, reeling in her own emotions and ignoring his. But he on the other hand, has centered on the b
