VI

Today is the second challenge, and the contestants are already prepared for their next game. Nobody knows what they are going to play for this week, and most importantly, nobody knows who's going to die today. This time they are all in the huge mansion, which has been abandoned for a long time. Suddenly, the speaker made an irritating noise, then proceeded to make an announcement.

"For our next game, we are going to play hide and seek. All of you must hide for sixty seconds before the seeker starts to find one of you. "Good luck." Then the timer starts to count down.

Everyone split up to find the best hiding spot. Humero immediately went to the dining area and hid inside the cabinet. Inside of it was a ton of cobwebs and expired detergents, which it had not used for so long. Max decided to stay in the living room and hide in the human-sized drawer. He was completely fit in the cabinet box as he pushed slowly in order to close the cabinet box.

Ayat quickly ran up to the bathroom, but unfortunately she saw the dead body of their previous contestant, which was still fresh. She was stunned since Amiyah died from the explosion and she wasn't supposed to be in this condition. She carried the body and tossed it in the bathtub, which was filled with green water and algae, then quickly hopped inside the bathtub and used the dead body as a protector so that the seeker would not find her.

Eshal and Jaxx decided to help each other by hiding together in the bedroom. They both decided to lock the door so that the seeker couldn't enter the room.

"Ok, there's the lamp that we can use in case the seeker manages to break inside the room." Jaxx said, lowering her voice to a whisper.

"I've got a tube here," Eshal speaks softly as she shows the long metal tube that she found under the bed.

"Nice," Jaxx said as he hid inside the cabinet while Eshal decided to hide under the bed.

Calvin went to the laundry room and hopped inside the abandoned washing machine. The inside of the washing machine was filled with dust, so he sneezed a couple of times. Jonathan decided to hide in the backyard, but unfortunately, the door was already locked, so he decided to hide in the basement. He saw Katherine hiding under the billiard board, which was the wrong hiding spot.

"Katherine, why are you hiding there?" Jonathan asks her in a whispered tone. "That's not a good hiding spot. You will get eliminated first."

"Sorry, I've never played hide and seek before." Katherine responds as he stands up and confronts him. "Do you know any good hiding spots?"

Jonathan carefully examined the basement as he tried to find a good hiding spot. He saw the rotten cabinet, but it wasn't a good hiding spot since the door itself was already broken. There are a bunch of tables and chairs everywhere which can be used for self-defense later. He kept searching until he saw a pile of abandoned barrels.

"There!" He whisper-shouted as they quickly ran to the pile of barrels. Katherine went inside first before he closed the lid. He quickly jumped inside the barrel where it sat next to Katherine and carefully closed the lid by himself.

Now it's only Clyde left, and he is still searching for the best hiding spot. Out of nowhere, he heard an irritating alarm, but this time it was louder. Time's up! Goodluck, hiders! "

"Fuck, I'm going to die!" He cursed under his breath as he quickly ran to the hallway. Out of nowhere, he saw the seeker who was wearing the plague doctor's outfit. He slowly turns his head to Clyde as he raises his hatchet and starts chasing him. Clyde has no choice but to run away. He dashed to the stairwell leading to the second floor.He saw the bathroom door that led to the bathroom, so he quickly ran inside and locked the door. He took a deep breath as he slowly sat on the ground.

"Psst!" Clyde looked at the bathtub and saw Ayat hiding behind the Amiyah corpse. "Is the seeker out there?" Clyde nod

"Keep my hiding location secret, ok?" Ayat muttered as she slowly hid behind the dead body. Clyde nodded and stayed there for a minute before he quickly ran to the other room, leaving the bathroom door open.

The seeker saw the bathroom door was left open, which for him was a sign that someone had entered that room.

'Bloop'

He heard it from the bathtub, which was another sign that someone was hiding there. He quickly grabbed the dead body and tossed it in the corner of the room, revealing Ayat.

"Please, don't." Ayat begged as the tears started to form in her eyes. "I don't want to die."

But without any hesitation, he quickly stabs her in the chest, killing her instantly. As soon as he pulls the hatchet, her blood starts to mix with the green water and algae. He carefully carried the dead body, put it inside the black gym bag and immediately left.

He checks the surroundings and notices one of the cabinet boxes starting to shake. He opens the cabinet boxes one by one until he pulls the one where Humero decided to hide. Humero screams in terror, but Clyde quickly puts his right hand on her mouth.

"Shh! The seeker is outside the room. " Clyde whispers, "shout," and Humero simply nods. They heard footsteps, so they looked at the door, which was left open, and saw the seeker walking down with the black gym bag. They stood there in shock as the seeker looked at them, waved and left. They sat there for a couple of minutes until there was an irritating alarm that was heard throughout the mansion.

"The challenge is over." "Congratulations to the remaining contestants."

Everyone went back to the living room and saw the seeker standing in front of the black gym bag.

"I thought this challenge would last longer, but some idiot decided to hide in my trap." He said as he opened the bag where it revealed Ayat's dead body together with a hatchet on her chest.
