XXVI

Today was the fifth challenge, which took place at the stage where Max Moyer and Humero Lozano died. The six remaining contestants looked at the ball that was placed in the middle of the stage. Everyone was confused for a moment, but the host decided to explain the challenge for today.

"Today's challenge is the supposed third challenge, but due to the incident, I decided to continue the third challenge instead as a fifth challenge. As you can see, the contestant must grab the ball and hold it while the rest of the contestants try to steal it. Whoever the person is who held the ball as the timer ran out, will be saved from elimination. There will be only ten minutes before the timer runs out. "Good luck to everyone."

The host positioned the contestant on the left side of the stage while he put the ball on the right side of the stage.

"Ready?" The contestants position themselves and lock their target on the ball. "Go!" As the timer started up, everyone ran to the other side of the stage to grab a ball. Jonathan managed to grab the ball first, but Jaxx punched him in the face and stole the ball from him.

"That's not fair." Katherine complained.

"There's no such thing as an unfair life and death situation. I did not try to steal it, bitch. " He tried to tease her, but Katherine calmly approached him and threw him an uppercut, which Jaxx didn't expect to happen. Katherine slowly carries him and throws him off the stage.

"Next time, sweetie, learn how to talk to a woman." She said as she watched him slowly stand up.

Meanwhile, Eshal took the ball and ran away from the stage. As soon as Jaxx saw her, he decided to run after her. But unfortunately, she tripped, causing her to let go of the ball. Jonathan quickly ran to the ball and grabbed it.

"Come get it!" As he dribbled the ball, he challenged them.

"Oh you want to show your basketball skills? "Bring it on." Jazz approaches and he positions himself. Jonathan smirked as he tossed the ball over his head, causing it to rebound and shoot toward him. Jaxx watches the ball fly behind him. Katherine jumps and successfully catches it in midair. She slowly dribbled it as she watched him run toward her. But out of nowhere, Eshal manages to steal the ball from her and quickly pass it back to Jaxx. Everyone tried to steal the basketball from him except Eshal, watching from a distance. She quickly glares at the host, who's currently watching them from the stage.

She quickly ran out of the room and left the building where the challenge was currently happening. Suddenly, a loud noise appeared and came to her necklace, where the host gave it to them. Her heart beat pounded faster as she tried to get rid of it, but it was a failed attempt. She was desperate to remove it, so she looked at her surroundings and saw a saw, so she quickly grabbed it and cut it. As soon as the necklace fell to the ground, she quickly ran away to find the exit. The studio was so big she couldn't navigate her way through it, especially since it had tons of trees blocking the sky. She decided to enter one of the buildings to hide there for a moment.

Meanwhile, as the game continues, Jaxx still dribbles the ball as everyone is still trying their best to steal the ball, but no one has successfully done it. There's only one minute left before the challenge is finally completed. Everyone was sweating so badly as they were desperate to be exempted from the elimination.

"Looks like one of you is going to die." He said, but out of nowhere, Clyde successfully stole the ball from behind. While he was dribbling, he heard a ticking noise inside of it. He put his left ear to it as he tried to hear what was inside the basketball.

The basketball suddenly explodes. The four remaining contestants watch in horror as they slowly back away from the dead body. The host slowly clapped his hands.

"Congratulations to the remaining contestants." The host congratulated them as he removed the mask, revealing himself. "As a celebration of surviving five weeks, we will hold a celebration on next Saturday, no deadly challenge. Now, let's go back to the assigned house, shall we? "

Eshal felt scared as she watched how the contestant and the host walked back to their assigned house. As soon as they were gone from her sight, she took advantage of the opportunity to leave the building as she secretly examined her surroundings. She keeps walking until she stumbles upon the shelter, which has a light on it. She decided to participate just in case she learned something useful. She saw the monitor where it showed the location of the camera around the studio. She noticed there was a notebook at the table, so she quickly opened it. She noticed the picture fell from the notebook, so she picked it up on the floor and went into shock as soon as she examined the picture.

It was a picture of her back when she was in grade school.

She looked confused for a moment. Why did the host have a picture of her? Did the host know him that much? What's going on? She decided to read a notebook, hoping for an answer. As soon as she finished reading the notebook, she unconsciously dropped it on the floor. She can't believe what she discovers about the host.

"What are you doing here? You're supposed to be in the assigned house. " She heard the host speak behind her, so she turned around, and for the first time, she saw him without a face mask.

"You're my uncle?" Eshal asked him a question as she felt her heart pounding faster and faster.

The host took several seconds before he responded.

"Yes, I'm your uncle."
