Jason entered Ginger's home and felt at ease and at home as soon as he walked out onto the porch. He couldn't help but be thankful for the kindness and hospitality Ginger's family had shown him over the years as the fragrance of a home-cooked lunch filled the air.

He knocked, and the door opened, revealing Ginger's mother with a kind grin. "Josh! It's wonderful to see you once again. Come in."

Jason went inside and gave her a warm grin of his own. With family pictures and memorabilia adorning the pleasant living room, he felt like an honorary member of the family. Ginger's dad came out of the kitchen shortly after, giving her a warm hug and a pleasant handshake.

"Jason, my boy, how's everything going?" With real curiosity in his eyes, Ginger's father enquired.

Jason said, "It's been busy, but good." "Thank you for inviting me."

Ginger's mom guided him to the dinner table, laden with an abundance of food that emanated a delightful aroma throughout the space. "Jason, please sit. A littl
