Her body became taut as she felt deserted and discarded. Nobody cared about her, they didn't even ask Him the purpose of why He wanted her. They just abandoned her like a deer is passed on from one lion to another.

The sudden urge to defy them knocked her mind, she wanted to scream at both the controlling men. She wanted to tell her will. She wanted to deny them. Maybe, Maybe she could just disagree with their decision and stand for herself.

“I don't want to….” She whispered under her breath without giving much thought.

“What did you say?” Alpha Ralph asked her, the anger and hatred filled his eyes. If not for the King's presence there, he would surely have killed her with his own hands. Maybe He was just finding a chance to punish her after all she caused his son’s death.

“I…I don't want to leave my pack.. Please don't do this to me, Alpha.” She couldn't help but beg while looking down at the shimmering material on her gown not daring to look at any of them.
