Chapter 17- Lost in thoughts again

I was just doubtful if Ben would answer my call. If he were normal and everything was casual, then he might have already sensed my pain and would have reached there for my rescue long ago. But there was something that was keeping him at bay and letting his soul mate suffer at the hands of a wicked person. I craved to know the reason for his having ignored his senses.

After our wedding, he used to always be around me, and even if I caught a cold, he used to get worried and heal me. But unfortunately, I never realized that those healing powers were those of a vampire.
